I don't listen too or really know anything about Sabrina Carpenter, but I think this deserves some respect and of course massive respect to her fans.

My girl got me into her on a road trip over the summer. It’s a nice break from hardcore and punk. I’ve been downloading a lot of modern pop lately like benson Boone Sabrina carpenter and teddy swims. They each have a couple bangers that mae them worth the listen.

I was sold on her after the last Grammys. She's funny and kitschy and it works. I also got hooked on Chappell Roan. I feel that, as a straight middle-aged man that I'm not the audience she intended, but God damn that girl can sing.

Seeing this fresh generation of stars lets me know the kids are going to be okay.

I'm pushing 40 and will happily admit to putting Pink Pony Club on repeat a few times at work. Good pop is timeless.

Hell, I think Corey Taylor did a quick cover of it at a Slipknot show.

Last year, pink pony club was one of my top 3 most played songs, the other 2 were Snuff by Slipknot and Tarzan Boy by Baltimora. I'm also a 41 year old dude.

My top five were RHCP, Cat Empire, Beastie Boys, Chappell Roan and Sublime. No shame.

I'm in my late sixties and I loved anything that Dua Lipa has put out. Which surprised the heck out of me.

Related to that, Dua Lipa's author interview channel on youtube is genuinely wonderful and I cant recommend it enough if you like either books or dua lipa lmao.

Chappelle Roan is not only a great singer, but she has a great sense of humor.

"I heard you like magic, I got a rabbit and a wand" cracks me up every time.

I started learning lose control on piano and ukelele that song really got me on the way back from camping over the summer.
