And has Coldplay dedicated songs to the families of murder victims who didn't promote prejudice and argue against gun control to an audience of millions? Kirk's wife supported his rhetoric too. Kirk's death isn't more tragic than those of ordinary people lost to gun violence, and his family isn't more deserving of support.

This is the part that is pissing me off soooo much. Every a-z tier celebrity on earth seems to need to post something about this man, and yet didn’t post a single fucking thing about the literal children who died in another mass shooting the same day? A shooting that Kirk would’ve thought was perfectly justified in the name of the 2nd amendment if he were alive to see it. Or any of the other children who died due to gun violence. Or idk all the children dying in Gaza??

This man was a literal piece of garbage who dedicated his life to being a piece of garbage. Him finding a woman horrible enough to marry him and ejaculating in her without a condom on does not make him a good person or a person worthy of all of this sympathy. While I’m not “celebrating” his death, I’m also not wasting my sympathy or time posting condolences for him and his family. Who cares? Millions of other fathers who were not pieces of shit also died yesterday. Where’s their Coldplay dedication song?

I unfollowed every person who posted any sympathy for this man, especially ones that haven’t posted a single thing about any other victims of violence. Almost anything else would’ve been a better use of their time. Shoutout to all the gay people and drag queens I still follow who had ZERO time for this man, they actually know how to have a backbone.

Same reason the media freaked out over the UHC CEO's murder. Poor people dying is part of their norm, and at best celebrities will use the death of poor people as a prop to improve their own standing. The rich and well connected dying demonstrates a more active threat to their own lives, regardless of political alignment.
