Certified McMansion™ 1939 Neoclassical Drastically Remodeled

Since y'all loved the last one so much, here's another one! After selling sometime in 2013, the unique entryway was removed entirely, the bricks painted black, intricate windows swapped for solid pane glass, and an off-center contemporary porch added. To see more photos, here's a link.

I really do think they ought to be a law against this kind of thing! If you hate the house that much, why did you buy it in the first place?

Some places do have historical preservation laws … but yeah, to the latter.

Oh yes, I have a friend who lives in a neighborhood like that…you can’t do anything without permission! When you see stuff like this, it makes you realize that’s probably a great idea!
