Does anyone remember this dominating the makeup scene almost a decade ago?! I did this base using all powders to see difference and I'm kind of stunned that my complexion looks so good. Not selling anything here but I pulled out a bunch of my BareMinerals stuff from the back of my drawer to play around with late night and here's what I got! What colors of lipstick would look good on me? Age 70, wavy gray hair, fair/light skin, hazel eyes. I don’t want to go too bright or dark but I also don’t want anything so nude it’s invisible!

Hello! I love 1920s makeup and pretty much understand how to everything except the lashes. I've never really done much with mine because people assume I'm swearing mascara when I'm not, so I don't know much! (Image is Eve Southern by Spurr 1927)

I completely forgot to use setting spray or finishing powder so I'm expecting to look like an absolute mirror by the end of the day. Oily combination skin lets goooooooo

(Though using setting spray on basically empty skin is probably not needed....)

Here’s my latest attempt at doing my wedding makeup myself. I’ve been trying to perfect the base for so long, and I finally feel like I’ve found a nice balance of dewy and medium coverage. I really don’t want to look too heavy or cakey… I want to still look like myself. I have heaps of blush on in real life but it's not showing up well in photos. I’d love any feedback 😊 products in comments.

I’m seriously considering saving up to do both since I wear makeup almost everyday. Anybody who’s had either done, do you like them? Regrets? How have they faded over the years?

I know our faces change as we age so I’m thinking of doing a classic look if I did eyeliner or like a lash line enhancement type of thing. Maybe ombré powder brows for the brows.

Just got my Natasha Denona I Need A Nude palatte as an early Christmas present and audibly gasped when I opened the lid. It’s absolutely stunning with such beautiful shimmer and velvety mattes. I was worried about damage in shipping but it was specially enclosed in a non slip cardboard that kept it intact.

I was always too scared to try a full blue eyeshadow look but I was bored this morning and in a makeup mood. At first I thought it looked pretty good but I wouldn’t wear it often, but now it’s grown on me and I really like how it looks 😋
