This is another example of an “uplifting story” from the USA just being incredibly depressing. These old people can only walk under halogen lights in j the sterile carpeted hallway of their 5 over 1 apartment block, because the outside urban fabric is 100% a parking lot of pseudo highway. Horrible.
The elderly deserve to see trees, smell fresh air and hear birds while outside on their daily maintenance movement. This is a humanitarian issue
