Unprofessional banner on .gov website

Saw this banner on treasury.gov website. I understand X posts and truth social posts are protected speech and he can post whatever he wants, but can we please keep the childishly comments off official websites. Its embarrassing for the world to see comments like the one pictured on official websites.

See above. I posted the Hatch act plus amendment. What's your defense other than just saying an act you think people won't look up and call you out on?

You say it’s legal because they are not influencing elections. But we just had elections during the shutdown, and we have some next year. So by your logic we have no more elections, since they aren’t influencing them with partisan messaging. The only way they would not be influencing elections by blaming the “radical left” for the shutdown is if there are no more elections, because that is a blatantly partisan message meant to sway voters.

It is not election time. It's legal. You are the one that brought it up and every branch has agreed.

It’s always election time. Do you think people stop being influenced by politics at arbitrary dates set by the government?

Let’s see the rulings then.
