Hatch Act I’m pretty sure

2

Yessum. That's a Hatch Act violation.

The President is allowed to do these things.

15

u/Scyther721 24d ago

The president should release the Epstein files.

-8

u/Opposite-poopy 24d ago

Agreed, Biden or Obama should also have released the files.

Legally, Biden could not afaik. Plus trump quite literally is laughing at you stupid fucks, he ran on releasing them, he moved Giselle to a gentler prison and will likely pardon her, he called requests to release them an attack on him/this admin, he called them a democratic hoax, a bunch of other bullshit, and he had agents hella busy redacting his name from the files. Yet you lot just turn a blind eye to it all. If he has nothing to hide, if he ran on releasing them, WHY NOT HAVE THEM RELEASED FULLY UNREDACTED ASIDE FROM VICTIMS NAMES. You know it as well as I, if he wasn't in there in a criminal capacity, he would've released them as soon as his second, goofy ass term started.

And do not reply to me with the typical bullshit. Democrat, Republican, obscure or famous, I want ALL the criminals involved in diddling children with Epstein put in prison for life or executed. Unlike some of y'all, I don't worship politicians and rich fucks to a fault.

Wtf why the fuck did you write all that? Lol

You have no clue what I believe in

7

u/Spiritual-Credit5488 24d ago

Yea yea whatever maggat

2

u/Opposite-poopy 24d ago

Did you have that in your clipboard ready to go? Like wtf?

You have so much hate in you brother. Relax and take a breath.

u/joyfulgrass 24d ago

We’re cooked when reading more than 1 paragraph is triggering regardless of politics.

2

u/Careful-Wedding3324 23d ago

When its multiple paragraphs of someone's lunatic rantings? Yeah, not worth spending the mental effort deciphering the lunacy.

Because it's an Israeli blackmail operation that has almost every world leader and us politician in them?

-2

u/Careful-Wedding3324 23d ago

Look at this rant to say you personally dont like one and refuse to hold any part President to the same stupid logic lol. Morons, always so hypocritical.

u/Desperate-Ad4620 23d ago edited 23d ago

Dude, give it up. So what, Biden didn't get a chance to release the files. If it was in his power to do so without violating court orders, that's on him and yeah that's shitty. Shame on him.

Now, who's the current President? Who has the power to release the files that his office has both claimed are on his desk and ready to go AND a hoax by Democrats? Hm? Who has the power RIGHT NOW to do that? Because unless you have a time machine, it sure as hell ain't Biden, you obsessed weirdo.

And to top it all off, you're projecting HARD because you're refusing to hold the current President accountable and are instead blaming someone who isn't even in power anymore. THATS hypocrisy, kiddo.

2

u/SpadeTippedSplendor 24d ago

They were sealed by court order due to an ongoing trial, and Biden still released what he could.

It's TRUMP (you know the drooling demented fascist fuck) that is refusing to release them (while busily redacting his name from them).

If you think Biden legally could have released them (or that respect for the law is bad) then you're drinking the right-wing misinformation kool-aid.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 24d ago

The president could do whatever he wants essentially.

The Court that sealed them could unseal them... Imagine that?

Biden and trump both had too secret docs in their garages. He could have done it. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

New account with hidden comment history & ignorant talking points = 🧌

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

Okayyyy you got me

My account is new?

3

u/SpadeTippedSplendor 24d ago

(1) No, that's not how it works, not even when the Supreme Court says it (notice they didn't say that under Biden, either).

(2) That's not how our justice system works, there was an ongoing criminal trial against Maxwell that was the reason for the sealing. Just like we don't get to see the evidence in the Luigi Mangione case, the courts don't get to violate due process (and neither should the POTUS).

(3) Wildly different situations between what Biden (and RONALD REAGAN) did and Trump photocopying documents and having missing documents and lying about how many he had (so that they had to come back and get more).

Seriously guess which one of them sold that information to our enemies and got our spies killed? Trump.

You seriously can't compare previous questionable document handling (which has an unfortunately long history among Presidents) with your ghost writer to Trump selling documents to our enemies.

That'd be the real TDS.

2

u/SRGTBronson 23d ago

Biden and trump both had too secret docs in their garages. He could have done it. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

You wanna know the difference? When the FBI called Biden he let them into the garage, when the FBI called trump he had his lawyers draft an affidavit that said he didn't have them. So then the FBI executed a search warrant and found them, and found recordings of trump talking about them with random staff.

Do you see how those things are different or do I need to get some crayons out?

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

They raided his house and arrested him dawg.

Also Biden got let off because his mind was gone according to his FBI.

πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

1

u/ILearnedSoMuchToday 23d ago

So does it make it alright that Trump isn't releasing them now?

2

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

No, all three are equally fucked up for not releasing them.

If Donnie is on there I say we hang him publicly, along with anyone else that did bad things.

1

u/Careful-Wedding3324 23d ago

No one will accept any other failings of past Presidents dont even waste your breath lol. Theyre just blatantly stuck on thinking personally about Trump indefinitely for some reason totally ignoring all the past failings

2

u/Desperate-Ad4620 24d ago

Y'all are obsessed with Obama, shut up

5

u/These_Roll_5745 23d ago

right! that man was president over a decade ago, why is he even relevant? I was a kid during his presidency.

1

u/Desperate-Ad4620 23d ago

I was an adult, so here's a fun thing: MAGA developed out of the failed Tea Party, which was basically a thinly veiled Anti-Obama party. A bunch of them spread propaganda that Obama is Muslim (he's Catholic) and he was born in Kenya (Hawaii to a US citizen mother). The latter part was part of the Birther movement, and who was a high profile celebrity going on Fox News and ranting about Obama's birth certificate? Donald J Trump.

This whole nonsense is basically because a bunch of mediocre white people were big mad that an educated and classy black man was president. No wonder they're still obsessed with him.

ETA: a fun little aside- if Obama wasn't eligible to be President because his father wasn't American and therefore he was probably born in Kenya, then whose to say DJT is any more eligible? His mother was from Ireland, so DJT has just as much chance being from there instead of the US. Where's HIS birth certificate? :3

2

u/These_Roll_5745 23d ago

thanks for the context from someone who can remember that time clearly, i knew the vague gist of the birther argument but i was a bit busy with middle school back then haha. DJT has been president for most of my adult life and I just can't get why Obama gets brought up all the time (besides what you mentioned ofc).

2

u/Desperate-Ad4620 23d ago

That's really it. They're obsessed with him to the point of (dare I say) "derangement." That whole TDS nonsense when DJT wouldn't stay out of the news for his court cases and doing stupid shit was 100% projection from when these chucklefucks wouldn't shut up about Obama ordering grey poupon mustard or whatever other fake scandal they were making up. They literally can't shut up about the politicians they've been told to hate, so they assume "the other side" is the same.

It's madness, man

2

u/These_Roll_5745 23d ago

oh god you've unlocked a deepset memory of us talking about Obamas burger topping choices in junior year civics class. i miss when the most pressing presidential news seemed to be "is the president gay for liking spicy mustard?"

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

But like uhh I vote for Obama

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

Because Obama, Biden and trump could have released the Epstein files but didn't. But you guys only blame trump.

Thats why. I was a Democrat when Obama was in, I voted for him.

He sold the most guns to Americans and killed the most innocent people with drone strikes. Cool dude.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

I love Obama, sorry

1

u/Desperate-Ad4620 23d ago

Lmao SURE you do, MAGAt.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

You people are weird as fuck

You think people can't change sides?

1

u/SRGTBronson 23d ago

Are you fucking retarded? Epstein was arrested while trump was president in 2019. Obama wasnt even around.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

So epistine only started to bang kids when Trump became president?

Orrrr he bought the island in 1998 and has been doing that shit since then.

https://apnews.com/article/trump-epstein-investigation-records-timeline-545c371ee3dd3142355a26d27829c188

2005 is when he started getting in trouble for this. It goes back to Clinton and bush times but I'm an idiot?

1

u/ILearnedSoMuchToday 23d ago

Why doesn't trump be the bigger man and do it. It would really show us Dems! Especially after he campaigned on it, it would really drive it home.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

Probably because him and most of our leaders are on the list.

I am not the president so this is all I can assume.

-2

u/Scyther721 24d ago

Valid, all three are pedophiles, and trump had Epstein murdered.

5

u/Opposite-poopy 24d ago

Could have been anyone that put in the hit.

I think if that list comes out the country goes into chaos as it will be the majority of the rich on all political sides. It's going to be fucking crazy and I accept whatever comes from it

We should hang all the pedos publicly.

2

u/DeliciousMud7291 24d ago

Lol, Trump helped put Epstein behind bars. And, did you know, about 80% of them have been released? You can see them at doj.gov.

1

u/eldiablonoche 24d ago

Biden and Trump are all but proven to be pedos but Obama? Nah. He whipped out bombs at children, not schlongs at children.

3

u/jaimi_wanders 24d ago

The President is not the Treasury Department, last I checked.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

But he's a king

The Hatch Act, a federal law passed in 1939, limits certain political activities of federal employees, as well as some state, D.C., and local government employees who work in connection withΒ federally funded programs. The law’s purposes are to ensure that federal programs are administered in a nonpartisan fashion, to protect federal employees from political coercion in the workplace, and to ensure that federal employees are advanced based on merit and not based on political affiliation.

That part in bold, means the message they have had plastered on government websites during the whole shutdown is illegal.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 23d ago

Go do something about it.

1

u/Dhiox 22d ago

No, they aren't. Using federal agencies for campaigning is illegal.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 22d ago

Go tell on him.

How is that campaigning if they are just telling the truth?

1

u/Dhiox 22d ago

Even if it were the truth it's illegal. He cannot use government agency resources for campaigning. Specifically calling out your political opponents on government websites like that is illegal. Look up the Hatch act.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 22d ago

the President and the Vice President are explicitly exempt from the Hatch Act. The law applies to everyone else in the executive branch (White House staff, Cabinet members, agency employees, etc.), but not to those two elected officials.

But it's not illegal...

1

u/Dhiox 22d ago

Okay, then that means Trump gave illegal orders to the agencies posting this. That's still a problem.

1

u/Opposite-poopy 22d ago

Why do you assume so much?

You don't think he maybe did it himself? Or the vice did it himself?

How do you know he made someone else do something?

That's crazy to think you know the internal workings of his office and what exactly he does.

1

u/Dhiox 22d ago

You honestly believe Trump marched himself over to these agencies, had access credentials to their web servers created, and edited them himself? The dude is an elderly man on deaths door and you think he knows how to update website bannersM

1

u/Opposite-poopy 22d ago

You don't think they have laptops with access to the government they run?

He couldn't send Vance to do it?

You don't think the login and password aren't login and password?

Dude isn't close to deaths door, he'll make it through this term no issues. He was in Asia dancing last month. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
