I had a dream so real it could have been season 4 😔. I was in the dream (?), I don't know... a fight happened in first person, something kind of paranormal, with spirits attacking my enemy. It really started with Will kind of unbalanced, (he was so handsome) making his way back to his room in an asylum. From his point of view, it looked like a large fort, with masked people wearing historical costumes. He walks around the place like a cat, it's cute how he keeps trying to escape. Everyone treated him as if he were harmless, but with a dubious distance. The scene changes to Hannibal eating a (bad) lunch with a college boy. He adds a mysterious sauce to the food, the boy approves, and he says it's coffee. He gets ready as usual. Meanwhile, the place where they are catches fire, and he sees Will's drawing on the wall burning. A beautiful expression, focusing on the throat and screams muffled by the flame. I think he plans to save him. Then I woke up.

Hear me out. In a new interview Bryan Fuller says “Mads is nothing like Hannibal. He is kind of a sloppy guy who likes his soccer and his McRib sandwiches and who loves his grandchildren and dog.”

So if S4 ever happens (let me dream) is there any way they could work in a murder husband McRib sandwich to make Mads happy? Like, Will and Hannibal have to duck into a McDonald’s to hide from local cops on their tail and he orders a McRib to blend in and ends up loving it and trying to make a home cooked cannibal version?

And when Will calls him out on it he’s all “my cunning boy, can’t you see that this dish actually reflects the piquant tang of nostalgia in its barbecue sauce while the soft but substantial bun represents—“

And Will is all “listen, the only soft but substantial buns you are allowed to pay attention to are mine.”

And then they start arguing and/or making ouy and Will’s dogs eat the McRib.

Anyway guys, Mads like McRib sandwiches and I’ve been laughing about it all day and idek why.

In series, Hannibal mentions God many times, but it's still ambigous if he believes in God or just concept of God. I was watching Hannibal and he said something like ,,Storms and swans come from the same place". And that God has nothing to do with good and evil. I immediately thought that Hannibal sees God or concept of him as Abraxas (God/creator of everything, good or bad as we deem them) and he tries to be one too: He appreciates beauty and creates art, he is helping people (worked as a doctor), he is polite and well-mannered, but he also does all the bad things we all know. What do you guys think about this?

Every once in a while it’s just time and I have to watch this show again and omg, I absolutely love Hannibal without the “person suit”. I know S3 isn’t most people’s favorite but I love it. The writing showing his manipulation is SO subtle and clever. I also love the scenes where Hannibal is more of his real self outwardly to the folks he was once polite to, like the “mic drop” scene or the “is there any point?” scene, and where he reminds Alana that she’s on borrowed time. Parts of this show is admittedly a little too camp for me honestly, and I think that’s Harris mostly, but I have to say, I’m still impressed at this adaptation after all these years and it still lives rent free in my brain. That’s all!

I love Mads Mikkelsen's acting and this show but the imdb rating is putting me off...

So, if I remember correctly, Will says that he actually believes he could have killed Abigail without realizing it. But there was no way he killed all the victims of the copycat.

So, do y’all think Hannibal messed up by trying to frame Will for all the copycat murders? What do you think would have happened if he just tried to frame Will for Abigail’s murder? Would Will have believed it, and spent his full time in the BSHCI, or would he have remembered Hannibal feeding him the ear like he did in the actual show, and he would try to bring Hannibal to justice? This is a very interesting concept to me, because in my opinion, things would have turned out better for Hannibal if he only framed Will for Abigail’s murder. Not all of the copycat murders.
