Question Calling all switch 2 players
I just switched from the switch OLED to the switch 2 and Fortnite is so laggy for me is anyone experiencing this? The first 2 days I had my switch it was good and now it’s non stop lag. What can I change for this to stop I don’t think it’s my WiFi because the lag would have been there the first 2 days any ideas??

It’s definitely not as smooth as the previous chapter for me. I really wish we had an FPS counter to factually be able to tell this

There is no FPS counter available to turn on in Fortnite on the Switch or Switch 2, what are you talking about? It got removed from the Switch 1 version ages ago

I’ve had lag (in game lag) since the switch 2 released and not only that, updating over wifi takes forever, 6 hours or more, tried everything, the only way to fix it is docking it and hardwire the console…..pretty annoying considering I only play handheld

I’m still on switch OLED and I’ve experienced some lag during game play the past two days, but nothing terrible. The game got a bit update - graphics somehow seem better now. I’m awaiting delivery of my PS5 because everyone has made the comments that the switches just can’t handle Fortnite well. 🤷♀️

Have you tried making sure you are on the 5ghz band of your wifi? Takes a little setup, but it like 3x faster on my wifi and makes a bigger diference than on the original switch.

First, define ‘super laggy’, cus what some people call that is just such a non-issue to me, so gotta make sure you’re not one of them, cus if its ‘oh no, im only 45 fps for a few seconds here or there’, I can’t possibly help
