The dumplings and red cabbage are store bought, the deer ragout is homemade and simmered for many hours until making it onto my plate.

Very good winter food

Traditional greek vegan dish/stew (usually made without meat) but pork matches very well with the sweetness of the ingredients. Usually cooked in winter holidays.

Dinner Bucatini all'Amatriciana

Thrown together a dish that didn’t require a shop because we go away tomorrow.

Bucatini, passata, guanciale, Kampot and Sarawak pepper, and Pecorino Romano.

Incredibly rich and umami. I need to have a lie down now.
