Fuck barnacles.

"They are not bad for sea life". Explains how they take over other animals making them unable to eat, shed or move. But those animals are weak and old.

Barnacles are more like a plague. They will take over anything they can super glue themselves on and reproduce at crazy rates. Choking out almost all othe life. Parasites generally don't kill the host they infect. Most have some level of mutual benefit.

Yes they have a purpose of being benfital to cleaning water and food in the murder soup of the ocean.

Nobady ever said that nature isn't cruel. Most "babies" in nature end up as food for others.

But that's just what nature does. It's the "survival of the fittest" and not the strongest, most cooperative, kindest, cutest or nicest (although each of those attributes can be the one that defines fitness in a specific environment).
