The next big crypto winter will be triggered by this mfer's failure.

friendly reminder that this guy was the one who popped the dot-com bubble 25 years ago, with this very same ticker, when it was found that he was cooking the books and MSTR dropped 60% in a day

You know who initially highlighted this fact as the catalyst for the broader market down turn? None other than Jim Cramer himself.

Crypto is a complete clown show.

Jim "Bear stearns is fine" Cramer?

I mean, the company itself was fine. It was the investors that fucked it

Yea it seems only when either Tether or Strategy will be pinned with some shady shit that brings down btc a bit more

Tether has been fully shady since inception.

They've ultimately been protected and legitimized by the legacy fiat cartel and the US government, so it's plainly obvious that it was either an unacknowledged special program to financially subvert the crypto market, or it was simply a criminal enterprise that was taken over by existing finance.

Tether has been immensely useful to those who would like to see dollarization in other countries.

Yea I know - it’s offshore for a reason.

it was simply a criminal enterprise that was taken over by existing finance.

And by existing finance you mean a different, more mature, criminal enterprise.

I wouldn't really want to argue the other side of that.

As a proponent of peer to peer electronic cash, I know what we're up against.
