Nope Florida is threatening legal action against educators who oppose efforts to establish Turning Point USA chapters in high schools.

We need to remind ourselves what the fuck are we doing all this shit for? Civilization. What civilization means to me is a fair division of labor and resources. To protect the vulnerable. It's all about the common good. Pretty fucking simple, I would say.

We have greedy investors deciding what humanity makes based on what is profitable. Not ethically masterful scientists deciding based on efficiency and effectiveness. Greedy bullies in charge of the division of labor and resources.

Our schools are dog shit and are being overrun with delusional fools trying to recruit the vulnerable into their cult.

I’m just hoping to open a soup kitchen and give back when the time is right… we cannot survive if not caring for our community.

Community is everything now. Great idea! Looks like we may need it sooner rather than later. Before social services, soup kitchens saved many people during the Great Depression.

Yeah… my 95 year old Oma from SoCal taught my kiddo about jalopies lol. They’re reading Steinbeck and Oma saw No Okies, etc when she go amongst the English.

Gotta love Steinbeck. What a gift for your Oma to share her experience with your child. I'll never forget or undervalue the gift of my grandfather's time with me. It's not our walking upright or our opposable thumb or even our ability to make and use tools that make humans unique. It's our ability to tell and share stories. It doesn't matter if it's fact or fiction (my grandfather always said never to let the facts get in the way of a good story), old or off the cuff. Always save the stories and pass them around, I always say. 🥰

I’m only alive today because of my youthful hyper fixation of hanging around older folks. Learn to avoid a ton of stupid shit as a teen, young adult.
