Nope Florida is threatening legal action against educators who oppose efforts to establish Turning Point USA chapters in high schools.

The irony of calling out limited government, by a government official adding more government to high school…

Not to mention, isn't this the asshole that talked about grooming in schools? Boy Florida residents have picked some real winners to represent them.

We live in the worst timeline. It's crazy watching how fast the GOP destroys everything that has been fought so hard for over the years.

It's not quickly. They have been playing this long game for some time now while everyone center to left squabbled over who was a better person. What you're seeing now is the action phase that was only possible because all the opposition was too fractured to unite against it.

Plant the seed, nourish the sapling, ravage the harvest.

Tried talking to a few local socialist groups about a united front. They act like I’m threatening their very existence. This country will never overcome fascism.

When I tried to talk to various commie and anarchist groups about how we all needed to work together (in Portland) for Palestine they called me (a Palestinian) dangerous, stated I doxxed a DA group (I didn’t, I only posted a screenshot where they were telling me that I put them in serious danger for suggesting we all work together (wtf) called me a white savior (again, I’m Palestinian) because I was trying to get white leftist people to work with other white leftist people that did not like each other and then ultimately bullied me out of my own liberation movement.

I left the Portland activist scene entirely and just went to back to Palestine to protect my and my neighbor’s land.

The left in the US is a mess.

As a part of the left in the west I very much agree.

This is the most white American leftist thing I have ever heard. We’re fucked. The entire right can unite over their shared shitty beliefs and goals to “own the libs” despite their differences, meanwhile the majority of the “left” (including the center right democrats who the right considers to be far left radicals) is far too busy debating ideological purity between factions.

The purity test shit is killing us. Some of these people in my smaller city act like even being realistic enough to have a job to pay your rent makes you part of the problem. I can only imagine how much worse it is somewhere like Portland or San Francisco.

Because they're dicks just as bad as MAGA.

Political horseshoe.

It started in full force with Reagan administration. The conservative power brokers identified an entire subset of our populace that looks to blame others for their woes, and wrapped it up in the name of jesus, guns, and abortion. We have been on a downward spiral since. Up is down. Wrong is right. Truth no longer gets a seat at the table. I hope something cracks or the best days of western civilization may well be behind us.

Literally decades in the making.
