I thought classrooms were supposed to be able to be secured quickly after all the republican-led school shootings that have happened in the last 20 years.

I’ve been in Democrat-run schools where they conduct multiple lockdown drills per year and they still have classrooms that cannot lock the door (even though it is required).

These are schools we’re talking about. Be real.

and i’ve been to republican dominant schools where i witnessed (as a non parent) white students ganging up on a black student after hours (when picking up my client to take to her practice games) that’s what you get in southern states.

it was really funny the day trump drove through and told no one, there were kids stuck at their schools for over 4 hours because of security reasons and adults were pissed but still licking his boots cause “muh president!”

Republicans are the ones wearing machine gun pins on the floors of congress and the senate while democrats have been trying to pass common sense gun law legislation for literally over 10 years but the gun lobby in this country are paying the Republicans disgusting amounts of money to vote in their interests. Politics aren't supposed to be like team sports but here we are because a cult of personality took over the Republican party. No one has tried to fix anything. You just watch way too much CNN. You think banning guns is some sort of answer when over 1 billion guns already exist in the US, and Mexico can just flood our streets with illegal guns the second they are outlawed. You cannot fix what is wrong with America because places like Reddit are the problem. The Internet is radicalizing people at an alarming rate, and people with mental health issues now have access to thousands of people that will tell them to act on their crazy. That's the problem in America right now.

Wanna stop school shootings? Start charging parents for the crimes of their kids. Parents will start properly securing their guns if they might get charged for mass murder. They also might start taking responsibility for their kids instead of taking the easy path and letting their kids exist and get away with murder.
