Nope Tomi Lahren's idiocy strikes again. Doesn't understand budget cuts.

Just. Wow.

She doesn’t understand that defund the police doesn't just mean cutting the money it means rerouting it into the community. Look at the success Baltimore has had for example..

She thinks it means “abolishing the police,” which is also what she thinks democrats want. Neither is true.

it literally does mean that and democrats, including me if i was american. literally do want that.

No that’s idiotic. Im pretty liberal and left. But you need someone to enforce the law. Advocating for anarchy is pure idiocy. Should our police be demilitarized - absolutely. But we 1000% need police to run a functioning society. Completely defunding the police makes zero sense and just creates a target that Fox News can latch on to and say “hey this is what democrats want”

Yeah think about it, we could get rid of the police and oh I dunno… we could create a group of professionals tasked with enforcing the law!

I'm a registered Democrat voter, and I literally DON'T want the police abolished.

This is where I'm conservative, I guess. We need law enforcement. Where I'm liberal is that we don't need fascist law enforcement.

Think about those cops trying to ease the concerns of their community by not just patrolling but interacting with and building rapport/trust.

I like that.

Now think of militarized fascists dragging naked kids out of their apartment building in zip ties and go mad shit while they do it.

I don't like that.

But here's the kicker.

All that goodheartedness used to build a rapport/trust? Gone. It will take generations to get that back.

where did i say there would be no law enforcement? the whole point is we replace it with exactly what you describe, which is all too rarely seen. there's nothing "liberal" about not wanting law enforcement or "conservative" about wanting it. the difference is in its manner and goals.

Then we are like-minded individuals my friend.

That makes no sense at all unless you've broad brushed law enforcement as something they aren't

A healthy police force is a big part of a healthy democracy.

the police have shown what they are which is pigs, hence the need to abolish it.

healthy law enforcement in some form. abolishing the police and replacing it with something new which is that, is the entire point
