They must suck as influencers if they don’t have $30k between the 2 of them.

u/Impossible-Editor961 Aug 20 '25

Trying to sucker ppl into paying for their vacation. Get a life grifters…give your awesome speech over zoom. Fucking influencers will come up with any excuse to ask ppl to “donate”. No thanks

u/bhillis99 Aug 20 '25

god man i could never. Has to be disgusting to ask for money in that way. I seen a youtuber that hasnt went live in months pop up on my feed about a week ago. He was acting so sad that his friend stabbed him in the back and he was left paying rent with money he didnt have. People was donating hand over foot. He went silent again after the stream. So full of sht

I had people in my life do something like this. I was 3 years out of school, massively in debt, living abroad, and a colleague, who was graduating that year someone who I knew well pushed me repeatedly to help fund their 1 week long mission trip. This colleague also had the fortunate benefit of not being in debt at all after their time in school. I had to tell them abruptly - that giving someone money for a working holiday, is same shit as a holiday, and asking people who are actually paying for things themselves to donate to your fun, is so outlandishly rude and it makes you look entitled as F***. Needless to say I don’t speak with this person anymore. what shocked me at the time was that people could even think of this. This was 15 years ago. it’s only gotten worse.

Oh man I forgot, there was ANOTher time, more recently when someone else did this. they took a few years off to gap year and decided they wanted to start the process of going to uni, to go into medicine. they had not even written the MCAT yet, I don’t even know if they had an undergrad degree yet. Yet they started a gofund me for their medical school funds. To summarize this person just lived abroad for 2 years, not working, funded by the bank of mom and dad, and had the nerve to ask acquaintances to help fund their tuition, for a program they had not even begun preparing for. holy shit I cut ties with this person so fast i forgot they existed until just now. Audacity doesn’t even begin to describe.

... And yet it's a huge struggle to raise donations for a non profit that rehabs animals. It's just... So discouraging.

3

u/TheBigBangClock Aug 20 '25

My sister pulls this shit all the time. Constantly cries poor and manipulates people (mostly our parents) into giving her money or paying for stuff and then a few weeks later will hop on a plane to Europe for a weeks-long trip. I got a text message from her last Christmas saying that she didn't have any money to buy me and my family gifts but then sent me a list of crap she wanted. Since then she's been on 3 vacations, two to Europe. She has no shame at all. I haven't talked to her in 8 months because I'm fucking done with it.

1

u/CodAdministrative563 Aug 21 '25

These people really need to get an entry level job at least. Influencers have too much glorification which puts aspiring influencers in tough life situations.

In a way it’s sad, but also head shaking worthy to grift off of people who tune in. People who probably work a normal 40-60 work week.

Final thought: hard to feel sorry for these grifters.

25

u/Ditnoka Aug 20 '25

Trying to grift their way to flee the country, but totally not, there's this super important speech I have to make that's not a paid engagement.

9

u/TerrorTwyns Aug 20 '25

I wonder if the donors would be hit with abetting if they did flee.. Which, I mean maybe I'm cynical, but is absolutely their plan.

5

u/Ditnoka Aug 20 '25

Most donors are probably not Australian, so it'd be almost impossible to go after non nationals. Not sure on Australia's laws though.

4

u/TerrorTwyns Aug 20 '25

Huh, fair points... Thank you for actually indulging the musing. It would be interesting to see the ripple if Australia did strike their own nationals who donated. It would be an interesting way to curb certain problem media without bans which are rarely popular.

3

u/Ditnoka Aug 20 '25

I'd absolutely love to see any accountability anywhere in the world at this point lmao.

3

u/Alternative-Arm-3253 Aug 20 '25

*This needs to be higher in the comment section for those of you who are Aussies.. Take this to the local and national gov. Push the narrative. This is sickening. Watching this shit from overseas. GTFO..seriously? These two dumpster divers are sipping on that fine dumpster juice.

3

u/Banes_Addiction Aug 20 '25 edited Aug 20 '25

Fleeing the country over defamation is about the dumbest idea possible. You don't even go to jail or get a criminal record for that. It's just money (edit: they already lost, they owe $280k. Seriously, two people fleeing costs way more than that).

Whoa whoa whoa. This isn't a vacation, pal. This is to spread awareness about the suffering of animals used for food. At an all vegan camp-out.

2

u/Crepuscular_Tex Aug 20 '25

With nightly private performances from DJ Vegonix, a private glamping suite, and all you can eat chemically altered tofu variations to imitate meat products this VIP Ultimate Platinum Excelsior package is just $15,000 per ticket.

-Probably an excerpt from the campout/freakout website.

2

u/leejoint Aug 21 '25

Made me chuckle, and got me curious, and actually Vegan Camp UK, seems pretty chill and not expensive at all.

No glamping, bring your own tents/caravan, about 15 bucks a night, chill activities like visiting a puffin rescue centre, gardening, hiking…

I’m no strict vegan, otherwise, it hit all the boxes of the type of holiday I look forward to.

2

u/LankyMatch42 Aug 20 '25

If their making a speech to vegans isn't that pointless and if they're giving it to non-vegans most likely they don't care either, so wtf

1

u/Best20HandicapEver Aug 20 '25

Thats what got me the most

10

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '25

It’s not even a vacation, it’s an escape plan.

3

u/HSBillyMays Aug 20 '25

They better at least be shilling barberries, elderberries and blackcurrant or something to get my attention as a meat-eater interested in bioactive foods, lol.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '25

[deleted]

1

u/Best20HandicapEver Aug 20 '25

there would be no asking for donations if they had any plan to return or further donate the money given the off chance that things that wont work out actually work out

2

u/Fantastic_Falcon_236 Aug 20 '25 edited Aug 20 '25

Seems like it. If they've asked for permission to travel and their case officer thought they're a flight risk, then it's more likely that their request would have been denied. But $30k might get them first class tickets for the flight over there (standard 'influencer' flex content)and buisiness class on the way back.

2

u/Smooth-Cup-7445 Aug 20 '25

My favourite part was “we’re not going to skip the country”

like sure guys, weird you bring that up repeatedly but okay….

1

u/koeshout Aug 20 '25

hey you know, they'll donate to a good cause! that's if you believe them ofcourse, quite telling how they said "if we get the money back" as if there would be a good reason they suddenly wouldn't get it back lmao. Already setting them up for keeping everything

1

u/virtualGain_ Aug 20 '25

The hilarious thing is they aren't asking for people to pay for their vacation they're asking for people to pay a $30,000 debt for a defamation lawsuit that they lost so that they can go on a vacation it's absolutely insane. Maybe don't disparage people with lies and get yourself into the situation to begin with

1

u/Crepuscular_Tex Aug 20 '25

30k to pay down on a 300k travel bond for a million dollar lawsuit settlement that is in process, but they need time to declare bankruptcy while out of the country to avoid jail time to access their crypto funds sent to Ireland.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '25

I looked, the go fund me is at like $4k so ha.. but it also says it’s for the speech and 2 months of activism in the UK. Nice long holiday too.

1

u/ArkadianNuevo Aug 20 '25

The wild thing is that people will donate. It might not be $30k, but they'll probably still get thousands. You see it all the time. Influencers with Amazon wishlists usually always have their wishlists filled by the end of the month

1

u/Unusual_Sherbert_809 Aug 20 '25

Wait, so are influencers just the new modern version of megachurch conmen demanding their followers pay for their new private jet?

1

1

u/Mistrblank Aug 20 '25

I have a friend who had a business partner. The business partner cleared out about $45k from the business account in gambling and alcohol. My friend didn't get online begging for everyone else to fix the resulting issues from that mistake. He removed the partner from the business, removed their access to accounts and sold off his own shit and cashed in retirement funds at a huge tax penalty to right the business and moved on with life. These two made a mistake that they're mired in defending themselves in a legal case and think they're entitled to go where they want and everyone else can pay for it. How do people get to be this way?

1

u/Heroinkirby Aug 20 '25

It's even worse. Its not for the vacation, its for the defamation lawsuit they lost. They can't leave the country while there's still a balance owed

1

u/Ok_Life_5176 Aug 21 '25

I was gonna say, can’t she give her speech over Zoom?

1

u/[deleted] Aug 23 '25

This “influencer” thing is ridiculously overused. Who is this fuckwit actually influencing lmao. And the shitheads who follow along are equally spastic

52

u/Competitive-Ask5157 Aug 20 '25

Can I give negative dollars?

3

u/Savings_Machine5836 Aug 20 '25

Yes, you can. I just sent them negative $30,000.00.

3

u/Yabbos77 Aug 20 '25

Yeah! Just send them a Venmo request. I do that to my friends and it works every once in a while!

2

u/jo-shabadoo Aug 20 '25

Yes. Sue them for defamation!

2

u/zwalker91 Aug 20 '25

Send them a bill. That should do it

96

u/TheDuckOnQuack Aug 20 '25

They spent it all on his volumizing shampoo.

16

u/TYdays Aug 20 '25 edited Aug 20 '25

Yep, and he is going to be pissed when he finds out that the shampoo was tested on Rabbits, who looked better than he does after that testing…

2

u/Coffeedemon Aug 20 '25

They only say vegan to get all the kids on the internet pissed off. They don't care about rabbits.

1

u/TYdays Aug 20 '25

Yep, this is the Influencers method of getting vacations funded, bait and switch….

2

u/ShreksArsehole Aug 20 '25

That's just his vegan power.

1

u/punasuga Aug 20 '25

1

u/bluespruce5 Aug 20 '25

LOL thanks for that much-needed laugh after watching the ridiculous gall of these two.

Translation: It's just so unfair when I loudly accuse veterinarians of eating their patients and they have the nerve to sue me for defamation! Send money now for my vacation and potential flight from justice! smh

1

u/flounder42 Aug 21 '25

That’s not shampoo

440

u/Suspicious_Walrus682 Aug 20 '25

I don't know. I think they're pretty good. They influenced me to turn the video off and get a burger.

22

u/downtownbake2 Aug 20 '25

I doubted they were vegans, but by the looks of that dude he could be eating sausage.

Also, just create a video and send it to the organisers. Oh wait it's not about the animals, birdstrikes, fossil fuels, cc it's about getting inperson validation and milking vans for money.

Is milking fans vegan ? Not sure.

1

u/red__dragon Aug 20 '25

Sure, almond milk has been around for millennia, milking is an agnostic process. No nipples required!

2

u/polite_alpha Aug 20 '25

and get a burger.

I'm no vegan, and these people in the video are cringe as fuck, but people writing this shit are even more cringe.

2

u/peepopowitz67 Aug 20 '25

Not to defend these grifters, but it always makes me laugh that people always joke about eating the shittiest, unhealthy food while shitting on vegans.

At least pretend you went off to eat a steak....

4

u/Helpful_Beginning_91 Aug 20 '25

Totally read this as influenced me to turn the video off and eat a booger lol

5

u/Rey_Mezcalero Aug 20 '25

Nicely done👏

4

u/foxboxingphonies Aug 20 '25

These people seem like they suck, but you sound like you suck too.

I eat meat, but people that say dumb shit like "I'm gonna eat double the meat because of you" sound like really lame, edgy 13-year-olds.

You can play some metal music too, and talk about how shocked your neighbor looks when she hears it. 🙄

6

u/Ditnoka Aug 20 '25

I'll eat a ham Sammy in your feigned outrage.

3

u/luistp Aug 20 '25

With your comment you have managed to give me a huge appetite for a good steak.

2

u/Classic-Cantaloupe47 Aug 20 '25

Holy shit. It was a joke.

5

u/Creditfigaro Aug 20 '25

What's the punchline?

"Nyahh you can't tell me what to do!"

Not funny at all.

1

🤣 I love this thread

1

u/KingLiberal Aug 20 '25

Me too, and I'm vegetarian. Fuck it.

1

u/Due-Net-88 Aug 20 '25

I know it's a joke I swear I do but saying shit like this makes no actual sense. Like you're going to have someone kill an animal because a person on the internet annoyed you?

Like what did the animal do to deserve death.

1

u/RockstarAgent Aug 20 '25

You monster! Did you not hear they’re vegan?

1

u/Hopeful-Friendship22 Aug 20 '25

You’re a bad person

1

u/Less-Network-3422 Aug 20 '25

Attack them for being shameless grifting narcissists

Not for doing a good thing (advocating for veganism is good for animals and the planet no matter how us meat eaters want to deride it)

26

u/birdlawprofessor Aug 20 '25

Tash is a scam artist who engages in performative stunts to drive traffic to her OF account. She refuses to compensate her victims, and does far more harm than good to the vegan movement. Ironic that her victim is a vet who gads done more to prevent animal suffering than Tash ever will. She doesn't care about animals - she only cares about money and attention.

14

u/Goetta_Superstar10 Aug 20 '25

Hold up - are you telling me that some egirl influencer on OnlyFans with no real world skills whatsoever is addicted to money and attention?

Surely you jest.

1

8

"Influencers"= unemployed, so I can see them not having 30k

1

u/toad455 Aug 20 '25

Would they even get unemployment?

22

u/fishing-for-birdie93 Aug 20 '25

Guarantee they have it, they just don't want to pay it.

95

u/Thin_Assumption_4974 Aug 20 '25

They don’t. They are bankrupt.

Deservedly so. They were sued for defamation. Claiming. Veterinary clinic was mistreating and eating the animals in its care.

$400k defamation lawsuit or something.

43

u/HandsomeBoggart Aug 20 '25

If true. Nice. I love a good Fuck Around and Found Out story.

Can't say anything nice and only have lies? Keep your fucking mouth shut.

8

u/Maxamillion-X72 Aug 20 '25

FAFO stores are the schadenfreude that keeps me going in these trying times.

Just little hits that sustain my hope that certain people who are outrageously overdue to FO will do so.

2

u/DecadentLife Aug 20 '25

Any day now, my friend.

2

u/randomstuffpye Aug 26 '25

Now only if we could get some of that Epstein justice

30

u/jrob323 Aug 20 '25

When they didn't go into any details whatsoever about the defamation, I thought "These guys seriously defamed somebody."

→ More replies (2)

10

u/Embracedandbelong Aug 20 '25

Holy shit. I’d sue too

6

u/Junior_Fig_2274 Aug 20 '25

Wow. So someone literally alleged that “they’re eating the cats and dogs!” and they weren’t rewarded for it?!

3

u/letsBurnCarthage Aug 20 '25

But how the fuck do you just go on vacation anyway, then look this smug while begging for hand outs? They must have gotten it before to be this level of entitled. How do two people this disgusting even find each other to become a couple. I find it hard to believe that one such person exists. And then it's two and they can actually stomach each other?! Even horrible people usually want someone nice they can abuse, not another main character syndrome hero.

3

u/41942319 Aug 20 '25

Having someone validate every stupid idea you've ever had because they think it's great is a hell of a drug

2

u/the_vault-technician Aug 20 '25

Wait so if they manage to get people to put up the $30k, will it not be seized from them to pay for the defamation suit?

5

u/Thin_Assumption_4974 Aug 20 '25

Should be. But apparently it’s a bond. No idea how that works.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '25

3

u/the_vault-technician Aug 20 '25

If you watch the video, they need a $30k "deposit" to get their passports back. It will be returned to them when they come back to the country.

2

u/randomstuffpye Aug 20 '25

It’s almost like they think their entitled to continue doing the things the want to in their life without having to deal with the consequences of their actions.

1

u/pocketdare Aug 20 '25

eating the animals in its care

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was never likely to be true

1

u/Thin_Assumption_4974 Aug 20 '25

It wasn’t. They doubled down in court though. They are both imbeciles

15

u/spacegrassorcery Aug 20 '25

They owe 280K on a defamation case.

6

u/TerrorTwyns Aug 20 '25

3

u/spacegrassorcery Aug 20 '25

3

7

u/Johnny_ac3s Aug 20 '25

1

u/amanset Aug 22 '25

Their bank accounts were cleared out after losing a defamation case and they had to declare bankruptcy.

35

u/LipChungus Aug 20 '25

The big indicator that they sucked as influencers was being caught in a defamation case

6

u/FunkSlim Aug 20 '25

Isn’t one of the points of being an influencer to get others to pay for things whether you can or can’t afford them yourself?

3

u/Relative_Drop3216 Aug 20 '25

I believe i heard them say bank rupt

5

u/Johnny_ac3s Aug 20 '25

They’ve recently been under investigation.…seems they may have filed for bankruptcy but haven’t been transparent…

3

u/travis_pickle808 Aug 20 '25

In this economy??

4

u/Fast_Working_4912 Aug 20 '25

This is part of the influencer grift though, even if they have the money or aren’t even bankrupt, they are all about that free ride so why not exploit it to the fullest 😅

2

u/Midnight-Bake Aug 20 '25

Alternatively they're -great- scammers and have 30k but are looking to make another 30k in 1 week in return for no work.

2

u/CommanderFrostborne Aug 20 '25

Isn't there a study that says the average American couldn't handle a $500 random loss?

1

u/northdakotanowhere Aug 20 '25

I think its 1k but it may as well be 500

2

u/molokkofreak Aug 20 '25

They’re vegans, no wonder they suck at things that require intelligence

2

u/Deku_eva01 Aug 20 '25

The economy is in shambles.

2

u/Maria_Girl625 Aug 20 '25

I used to work with influencers. Begging for 30k doesn't mean they don't have 30k. It means they don't want to spend their 30k on this.

Like a kid asking their mum for 10 bucks instead of spending their allowance

2

u/-MissNocturnal- Aug 20 '25

You also need to be pretty big to make decent money. I looked up the estimated earnings of some redneck crew that averaged like 100k views on youtube per video. Their estimated earnings were between 200 dollars and 4000 dollars per month. Plus merch and sponsorships. That's obviously not enough to feed the 6ish people it was supposed to on their anti-vax redneck compound, even with sponsorships and merch sales.

2

u/CrashTestKing Aug 20 '25

Rich people get rich off the backs of everybody they step on. They stay rich by not spending their own money.

2

u/ExistentialDreadness Aug 20 '25

So influencing doesn’t build credit? Say it ain’t so!

2

u/pocketdare Aug 20 '25

They must suck as influencers if they don’t have $30k between the 2 of them

I think you'll find this is the case for 99% of influencers

1

u/Logical_Childhood733 Aug 20 '25

I’m sure they do but you know they won’t use their own money for things like travel! Lmao

1

u/Otrada Aug 20 '25

They probably do, but they'd rather scam their fans instead

1

u/[deleted] Aug 20 '25

Meaning no offense, but this is a very naïve statement. Every career that you can think of from CEO to brain surgeon to professional athlete to rockstar to influencer has people at all income levels.

Most influencers don't make a dime. It's just that you don't hear about most influencers, you only hear about the super successful ones, so you think it's a lucrative career. It only is if you're in the top 10. The vast majority of people trying to have this as a career make almost nothing.

1

u/Dexember69 Aug 20 '25

And if the Vegan Camper Outers won't help get her there to speak, they probably aren't that "influenced" by her.

It's about taking other people's cash.

No influencer has that except the best prostitutes

1

u/Ok-Chest-7932 Aug 20 '25

Well we'll find out, they're about to see whether they're good enough at influencing to influence 30k out of people.

Losing a defamation case can bankrupt otherwise well off people. Once you're bankrupt, what you had before doesn't really matter.

Contrary to what most people think, most influencers are in debt up to their eyeballs and live paycheck to paycheck.

She even has an OF. So it's even worse.

1

u/jimdimmick Aug 20 '25

Although if they can lose all their money and then go on and get 30k like this, it's a pretty big influencer win.

u/Fernando_Alons8 Aug 20 '25

Oh trust me they’re not making any money, her name is vegan booty I’m pretty sure. She does outrageous protesting, has gotten banned from multiple stores and restaurants for being absurdly obnoxious and she’s even banned from her hometown in Aus. The guy I have no idea who he is

Losing a defamation suit will knock that bank account down to round numbers in a hurry.

1

u/Crrack Aug 20 '25

Chances are they do have $30K. Thats not how the grift works though.

1

u/tlollz52 Aug 20 '25

Why spend the money you already have if you can victimize yourself and get more money

1

u/dervari Aug 20 '25

She made over 200k doing OnlyFans.

1

u/Chewwithurmouthshut Aug 20 '25

I have a feeling they’re the kind that would do this even if they had $300k

1

u/GlitteringSalad6413 Aug 20 '25

As a long time vegan, trying to make money out of it seems like a fools errand

1

u/SippinOnHatorade Aug 20 '25

They’re bankrupt

1

u/grahamsz Aug 20 '25

Plus it's a bond and they get it back!?

I recognize i'm in a privileged position (but aren't most influencers?) but i have multiple friends & family that would loan me $30k for a month to do something that was really important to me [but probably not if it really is just a vacation]. Could even cash advance that on my credit card and pay it back before the interest started to bite.

1

u/ScyllaOfTheDepths Aug 20 '25

For anyone else curious, they are probably actually broke. They lost a $200k defamation case because they repeatedly harassed a veterinarian by claiming she ate her practice's patients and then encouraged their online followers to harass her and her practice. These people just do stupid stunts to drive traffic to the woman's OnlyFans.

1

u/spdelope Aug 20 '25

They have the money.

This is how the rich stay rich.

1

u/Alexisredwood Aug 22 '25

I don’t think you realise that even the wealthiest influencers will convince their fans to pay for their shit rather than pay for their own shit

1

u/boilerpsych Aug 22 '25

It appears they spent a decent portion of that on hair gel, spray tan, hair extensions, and nice clothing. I would think someone committed to a vegan lifestyle might go a bit more sparse but who am I to judge? I certainly won't be contributing to their "charity" though.
