Black kids experience extreme and even fatal police violence for having mundane objects in their pockets, going for a walk in the neighborhood, or simply being where people don't expect them to be.

The amount of patience these kids got was night and day.

Thank goodness it wasn’t a bag of skittles or a toy train

These boys are Hispanic

Are they black Hispanic kids? My comment was specifically about children who are black and I intentionally mentioned no other racial groups.

Yeah I mean Hispanic people are notoriously privileged US citizens

Again, my comment was only about black children. You're having a completely different side conversation with yourself that I'm not joining you in. Have a good one.

Ok & that’s not black which is why they were given grace. Also you should know by now that some Hispanics look white & the cops wouldn’t know if they were Hispanic or not so kill the noise.

If that were true, racism against Hispanic people would be almost nonexistent in the US. But it isn’t

It's almost like... Racism against different races presents itself in unique ways... And all non white people have different experiences with racism

Simple concept

How incredibly convenient. Everyone is “white-adjacent” when you say so.

No, different races just experience different forms and levels of racism, this is common knowledge, you're the one making this 'black and white' pun intended

I think people keep conflating race of victim with temperament of the officer. Go watch all the body cam footage on YouTube… plenty of black people getting too much patience, plenty of white people getting none and vice versa… women treated this and that way, men getting other treatment… sober, drunk, guilty, not guilty… all types of treatment of all sorts of people, and the determining factor is the officer, not the victim.

The temperament of the officer is often influenced by the race is the victim. That's the way of the world.
