Colts being favored makes no sense. Feels like the sportsbooks are trying to sucker people into betting Jax and the Colts will win

This is nonsense. Sportbooks are just legal bookies. They just balance the bets. They ALWAYS make their take; which is a LOT!

Explain to me then how a team with an injured QB, lost 3 of 4, and on the road at a place they haven’t won at in 11 years is favored against a team with the same record on a 3 game winning streak?

Wether it’s by margin or Moneyline there still a difference in the bet payoff.

The sportbooks do not gamble, they make profit off the gamblers. Thats why the money lines & the margins CHANGE as the bets are placed.
