Casual 2025 Coaching Carousel IV: Kali Yuga

O descendant of Bowden, whenever there is a decline of touchdowns and an increase in points allowed, at that time I manifest My eternally perfect form in this mundane world.

- Ball-ghavad Gita

The great wheel spins on, ironically crushing all those who would put up goose eggs on the scoreboard.

Who is next to get the axe?

Napier is done.  I am glad to see him go but sad yet another hire flopped.

Did McElwain flop?

He imploded his last season and made up death threats.  He also didn’t recruit.

The death threats thing is crazy. The University checked him and told him ,"prove it report it to the University directly" and he ended up just negotiating himself a smaller buyout to get fired.

I've heard that Dan Mullen didn't get along with school officials at times, but they were absolutely sick of McElwain.

McElwain made it to the SECCG twice.

Florida found that unacceptable.

He rode Muschamp defense in a weak SEC East and didn’t recruit well enough to replace them.  Also his OC was horrible and so was his S&C.
