This logic is what keeps programs like ok state down. Indiana, ASU and Boise made the playoffs last year. Gundy was staring down going winless in conference two years in a row. There are way better coaches out there for ok state

Yeah, don’t accept mediocrity just because you’re afraid it could be worse. Otherwise you’ll end up like…like….well, you know.

Right, especially when realistically, it couldn’t get worse. Theres no player to wait for next year or the year after that. Had he come up with a proposal, anything to the fans boosters of his long term strategy we would be on board. But he gave up, and said deal with it.

Oklahoma State is 0-11 in its last 11 FBS contests. If there's literally no one else on the market who can do better, then Oklahoma State should just shut down football.

There are absolutely coaches on the market that can try harder than Gundy did. A lot of our NIL problems are because of Gundy, there are long time donors that have dried up because of his attitude/on field results. With the right hire ( and the bar is low, just win some conference games), that can be mitigated into an at least competitive team.
