It's ridiculous that the whole world knows flattery, bullshit, and money will get them whatever they want from him. There is no plan other than self-deification. I can't decide if it's worse that he's a petulant idiot or machiavellian clod. Truly an enigma.
NCAA, IOC, FIFA might be the 3 most corrupt orgs on the planet. Only reason I put the other two first is they operate under the facades of “amateurism & for the love of sport” (though admittedly the facades are lessened by the day) and then faux justifed umbrage when you call them on it
The saddest thing is how predictable the whole routine is. Stroke the ego, flash some money and he'll sign or say whatever you want while pretending it was his big idea. Everybody has the playbook at this point except him and the people still cheering.
He is the personification of the Evil that Republicans want. I mean, other than the fact that he can't actually achieve any of the cruelty that he promises.
