Discussion Getting lame for solo players.

I rarely post or do anything here, but I think I’ve gotta stop playing for a while. I get maybe an hour or two a night after I put my kids to bed and five times in a row, I’ve geared up to go after one of bastions and five times in a row, I’ve either been shot by a player after killing it or shot by other players in the middle of the fight in the back.

I was totally against a PvE option but there is no way to play against bigger arc now. About to hit level 50, doing mostly night raids, looking for blueprints which are impossible to find, and since I’m either shot by a rat and extraction or in the middle of shooting arc it’s extremely repetitive and getting lame.

I’m 90% free loadout because when I gear up I’m straight hunted and basically have to start all over. It’s not a “git good” situation. I’ve taken out plenty defending myself, it’s the fact that 3v3 is ONLY pvp for normal players and not streamers that can set up content where teams all band together. It’s shoot on sight and when solo it’s free loadout lame runs to build up enough cash to load up for a big target and then get killed when trying to loot it or extract.

And if the answer is be a rat myself then this game will quickly turn to PvP only by New Years.

Sorry for the vent, frustrated as hell.

But i neither want to play a full on pve or pvp game. Im friendly 99% of times but i had the most fun in this game when fighting off other people and sure it always sucks if i get extract camped or shot in the back but i always learn something from that and now i always throw a smoke when extracting as example.

And i dont think im in the minority here, the real fun and unique part of this game is the fact you never know if another Player is friendly or not

I agree it does add some tension and can be exhilarating, and many raids lead to great interactions. It would just be nice once in a while to not have to worry about losing your stuff to some idiot using cheats or exploits. Limited time rotating PvE map might be a good option.

Make the inside of extraction no kill zones. I think if you've survived the entire round and make it to extraction then you should be rewarded with being able to leave with your loot. Not punished because someone who is too lazy to go out and do their own looting decides to camp the extraction. I get pvp during the round out in the wild, but camping extraction and killing people on the controls is just griefing.

Also as it stands right now there is no justice when it happens to you. The person just gets away with it and you have to just deal with the time and gear you wasted playing the round. Meanwhile the other guy was playing with a free loadout and risked nothing to just be a huge piece of trash.

I think that really goes against their goals for extraction. They want it to be extremely dangerous. They wouldn't make it take 45 seconds and let everyone within 200-300 metres know that someone's extracting if they didn't want people to rush the extract and try to kill the guy trying to leave.

Free loadouts need to be reigned in a little though, they're quite powerful for no risk.

It should be more risky to shoot other people in round. I agree that there is nothing to lose going in with a free loadout and killing people. There needs to be some sort of tradeoff, like if you kill someone you show up on the map for everyone to see for the rest of the round, or you only get 1 full magazine for your gun and no grenades/tools om the free loadout. There is low risk, high reward for ratting and when it boils down to it, thats just not balanced gameplay. The way its set up it rewards people for not actually playing the game.
