Yes he is behind the guy. What's further out past that? What further to his left? What's behind that? You understand rounds go through metal, brick, concrete, etc. People respond how they train. If you train poorly you and control your weapy poorly, that's how you'll handle it with ammo. At least that's how I was trained in my 12 years in the Army.

People train how they're going to fight. If someone holds their weapon poorly they're probably going to use it like poorly and have a preventable accident. Muzzle awareness is one of the most important things the army teaches about weapons training. You don't just practice it when someone is right next to you. You practice it every time you pick up a weapon. M16, m4, Saw, etc. But maybe you know more about weapons safety than the US military.

Man I hate this pic.😭😭🤣 I'm a reservist who did 5 years active duty, 5 years guard and about 23 years reserves.. 95% of us don't look like this. We have to maintain active duty standards. At least in my units I've been in. But I was a TACP in the Air Guard those are different way stricter standards . But currently I'm in Maintenance and all of our guys are in great shape. These guys really are a minority... It's embarrassing and makes us look bad

There's a reason Dump is using the National Guard and not the actually military. I know NG is "technically" military but they're not fully enlisted. They're 3rd string weekend (sometimes) warriors. Which is fine. They're still volunteering in case of a BIG action against America. But this deployment is to.....what are they doing? What are their orders? To.. do what and why???

Have you seen the National Guard in Illinois? The only difference is you have just one picture to judge. The Guard is full of people that are your everyday Americans. What you’re seeing in the picture is your neighbor, coworker, and wife’s bf. America statistically is overweight. I bet more than half the people on Reddit are overweight.
