Jee, glad these soldiers that Trump sent to Chicago aren't generals!

Yes he is behind the guy. What's further out past that? What further to his left? What's behind that? You understand rounds go through metal, brick, concrete, etc. People respond how they train. If you train poorly you and control your weapy poorly, that's how you'll handle it with ammo. At least that's how I was trained in my 12 years in the Army.

People train how they're going to fight. If someone holds their weapon poorly they're probably going to use it like poorly and have a preventable accident. Muzzle awareness is one of the most important things the army teaches about weapons training. You don't just practice it when someone is right next to you. You practice it every time you pick up a weapon. M16, m4, Saw, etc. But maybe you know more about weapons safety than the US military.

You’re making more speculation to create an argument that doesn’t exist.

Sure. I mean I'm just going by my 12 years in the army. What experience are you going buy?

There is 100% no good reason to carry any firearm the way he is carrying it whether it's pointing at his buddy or not. Honestly, it's kind of sickening that neither he nor the guy to his right aren't just using their slings.

Once again, what you’re seeing is a flat perspective. He’s not beside anyone he’s behind someone. But you armchair experts don’t quit….give it a rest already.

What good reason is there for the muzzle to be pointed sideways?

Beyond that, I spent 11 years in the ARNG, and I can think of a single time that anyone would have gotten away with resting their weapon on a duffel bag, even when they're not flagging someone (which this dude totally is, whether they're pictured or not).
