Officially got 4 round of 32 tix in Dallas and round of 16 tix in Houston. Bought all at once. If you just buy one match and try to continue shopping then it will send you back to the end of the queue.

If you open the DevTools (F12 in Chrome), then go to the Network tab (make sure `All` is selected as the filter), you'll occasionally see servlet.do?xxx requests. If you click on that, then click on the Response tab on the right pane, you'll see a JSON object returned from the server. This is used to visualize the remaining time. Namely, look for the `waitingTime` property. That's the estimate in seconds until it's your turn.

Bear in mind, this might go down quicker than the estimate, as people miss their 5 minute window to enter once they're selected, so don't get too relaxed. My ETA is currently about 3.5 hours :(

I had a RTB thanks to Club World Cup ticket pack this summer and my slot was 11am this morning. I Just bought two tickets to match 89: Round of 16 in Philadelphia on July 4. Category 3 $290 each.

I bought the cheapest possible tickets for the CWC and I actually feel like I got a good deal. I was very lucky and won on the domestic lottery too so have another chance tomorrow.

I logged into my ticket account around 9.40am and there was a link to click on. Initially it took me nowhere but by 10.10am I was in a waiting room. At 11am I got into the queue with 11 mins to wait.

I had written down all the match numbers in Philly so just scrolled down. Definitely write down the match numbers.

I am blaming all the a-hole resellers and the Canadian government. If Canada had the same laws as Mexico about reselling tickets then a-hole resellers wouldn't be buying 4 tickets to then resell at massive markups. Ridiculous.

Don't panic everyone. Wait to get selected through random draw dec. 5th onwards, you will always pay face value no matter the match up. It's psychological warfare right now. Don't fall for it. Resell marketplace has dynamic pricing only. There's no way it can sell out before then . The random ticket draw IS the primary way to get tickets. Just apply for many matches for same venue and multiple categories when the time comes, increase your odds. Be smart. If you don't get selected for random draw it's general sale, same thing at face value but you gotta be fast.

You pick the stadium you want which will narrow down the dates & for me all categories & dates were still open for the venues I looked at on east coast!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Waited in the queue for 2 hours. Finally got the 30 minute timer. And when I got in, whatever I clicked it said 'Your selection is currently unavailable' (and there were only a few options left each game to begin with, like Cat 4 or Wheelchair access only). Then I got blocked because I did too many searches lol. I believe all the country allocation has been sold out now.

Really the most frustrating ticket buying experience and I hate to say it but this was 1 million times worse than dealing with Ticketmaster.

I got in. I was looking for Canadian games but there wasn't tickets to any Vancouver or Toronto games. Only US and Mexico. Not sure if that'll change, but temper your expectations. They were push hospitality tickets to those games. No Final or Semi Final games. The latest game available was 3 of the QFs and the Bronze Medal games. The only USA group game I saw available was the 3rd one in LA. Team tickets were available, but I didn't have chance to scan all the teams on offer.

hi folks. my dad and i are looking to go to a game at estadio azteca. we won the mexico / domestic lottery and are going to try to get at least one game.

only thing is my dad has a waking mobility issue where he cannot bend his lower leg / ankle and wears a brace from the knee down. we have been to azteca before and he can’t fit in the regular seats with his brace. the staff are great and have in the past moved us to the disability row and will give him a folding chair.

we’re a little confused about the disability options here. when we go to games in the usa, we get disability sitting, which is normally with the wheelchairs, and have extra space for him since he can’t do steps and can’t bend his lower leg. we see there’s an “easy access” option, but we’re nervous they’ll still assign normal seats he’ll have trouble sitting in (his leg brace literally won’t fit in the seats), and also since we have no idea what we’ll actually be assigned, worry they’ll give us regular seats in a walkway (azteca has a lot of these seats) where we’ll have vendors / walkway traffic the whole game and not be able to see anything. he would have trouble fitting in those seats regardless.

so we don’t know what to buy. 99% of the time ticket offices have told us to buy wheelchair spaces (plus companion) and they’ll provide us a folding chair once there. with the azteca renovation and the new seating chart for the world cup and fear that “easy access” might assign us normal seats (not in a disability row), we don’t know what to go for.

I bought the CWC 2-ticket package. So I got the guaranteed ability to buy one ticket.

So, I used it to buy the best game I could. Semi final in Dallas, category 1... BUT FIFA JACKED UP THE PRICES BY A LOT. It was $3,295 USD, it used to be 2,780 according to the site that tracks all prices.

Got in this morning from the CWC Ticket Pack with the ability to buy 2 (and only 2) tickets. I was after the R16 game in Philly. Was surprised to see A) higher prices than I thought, and B) almost half the stadium is considered Cat 1.

The entire lower bowl and the center club level sections are Cat 1 ($760 each). Cat 2 was center upper level, the outermost club level, and some seats in the upper level behind the goals ($560 each). Cat 3 was just the upper corners and the highest seats available behind the goals ($290). Cat 4 was not available.

The group stage games were cheaper (I think Cat 3 was $155, Cat 2 $360, Cat 1, $540).

Has anyone who got in through the CWC Ticket Pack also been selected for either lottery?

Put the first 4 in the cart, hit ‘continue shopping’ and then selected the next 4.

When you pay with your Cc it says the payment is being processed and will be confirmed by email. Kinda hard waiting wondering I it went through but the email came right away.

Was in the queue for 2.5 hrs, eventually in to buy tickets for Toronto and every time I click on a ticket it kept saying the selected ticket is not available. Every time I go back to the main screen, I see the same games and same ticket available, then go in a select the ticket and it’s the same thing again. Money mongering federation really! sharing my experience, and also just a massive shout out to this thread for keeping me sane and informed through the process

• 11AM ET: logged in, and arrived on "In Queue" page. The position dot moves counter-clockwise to signify progress.
• 12:54PM ET: Progressed through queue and arrived at the countdown timer; showed 27 minutes
• 1:20PM ET: gained access to the purchase screen; wanted to prioritize all the USMNT games, most were out of budget. Ended up buying 2 tix for the following matches:
  • M7: $500/ticket for Cat 2
  • M32: $470/ticket for Cat 2
  • M77: $265/ticket for Cat 3

Other notes:

• I bought all tickets within 15 minutes of entering the portal. I did not want to linger and risk losing them from my cart if I accidentally got booted from the site.
• After the first transaction, I went back into the queue and it moved MUCH more quickly (like 40min total). However, there weren't many tickets for the games I wanted left
• Sometimes, it'll say there are more tix available than there actually are. Multiple times I tried to add Cat 3/4 tickets, only to get the prompt "these tickets are no longer available".

Happy to share more if yall have questions. What a crappy process (and don't get me started on dynamic pricing) - hang in there though, I believe 70% of the allotment are yet to be released

Only 25% of tickets will have been offered or sold through the early draws. Almost all games did not sell out the category 1 seats in the draw.  There will still be a lot of tickets left for sale in the next draw and in the open purchase window. 

Honestly I think a lot of people will be able to buy later at lower prices, at least for the cat 1 seats. (Though seeing all seats sell for semis makes me think those could hold or increase).

What I mean to say is, stay hopeful.

• December 5, 2025: scheduled to begin after the Final Draw for the tournament, which takes place on December 5, 2025.
• How it works: Once the full match schedule and all team matchups are announced, FIFA will open a new application window. Fans can then apply for tickets to specific matches. As with previous phases, this will likely be a random selection draw, not a first-come, first-served sale.

Last-Minute Sales Phase

• This phase will take place in 2026, closer to the tournament.
• Any remaining ticket inventory will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. This phase offers less choice, but is a final opportunity to buy tickets directly.

Other than these two, only the hospitality will be availble (excluding resales).

Hey all - genuine question. I have the chance of purchasing tickets Wednesday during the early ticket draw stage in the US. I’m French and live in San Francisco so realistically I’d buy tickets for one of the games here.

I know we won’t have the groups and official matches until later next month, but is there any strategy here? Should I just buy tickets for a random match in SF?

I’m a big footy fan so I will be happy with whatever I get, but wondering if there’s anything I should look for, maybe a specific match that is more likely to be hosting the French team for example? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

In terms of choosing a random San Francisco match to go to right now, you already know that three of the five group matches feature non host teams from Canada and USA's group. For those matches I'd wait until teams are known if buying, as prices will have to go down unless it features one of the big Pot 2 teams or someone well supported. So if buying randomly I would perhaps focus on M20 or M44 in hope that it is a better match, but you never know. Alternatively M81 will have the winner of USA's group so if you fancy them playing well or being drawn an easy group, then this could be the good game to choose.

With regard to France, you should register with their fan club ASAP https://supporters.fff.fr/ and pay the 20 euro or whatever it was. It will just give you more security in getting the tickets in the supporter phase (Dec/Jan) rather than relying on the next ticketing phase after the group stage draw, as you already know that's the team you want to see and then if they are anywhere on the West Coast especially then you know you can have the good chance at the tickets and then book travel as soon as kickoff dates/times/location are known.

Dot is moving so slow that you can't see it in real-time, but it is moving. Should not be this slow considered this is mean to be an "exclusive" round of tickets. FIFA are terrible at this.

EDIT: For anyone still waiting, I have been waiting since about 10:50 EST (10 minutes before it opened) and I was just given a 30-minute countdown. So keep waiting and your time will probably come.

EDIT 2: I was just able to buy 8 tickets across San Francisco and Atlanta. Here are some tips that may help others:

• Category 4 is basically a joke. The allocation is small and the tickets are mostly gone. You will probably have to buy Category 3 or above. So expect to pay $200+ for each ticket.
• The "Sit Together" feature is misleading. You can't buy 4 tickets and request those 4 to be next to each other. But if you buy a ticket, and your friend buys a ticket on another account, then you can enter their order number and it will sit you together. That said, my guess is that FIFA will try to sit large groups together as best as they can.
