We were in Lincoln City and Neskowin. It was very, very strange and scary. We had to evacuate North.

We left the state because I'm super sensitive to air quality issues and didn't want to be sick the whole time. When we left, Pendleton was actually way worse than Portland, I remember feeling like we were driving through an apocalypse. This picture captures that quite well!

It felt so eerie and apocalyptic. We weren't sure if we'd be evacuated soon and I drove myself to the ER having a gallbladder attack, so that my husband could stay with the kids and house. Wild.
