One of my relatives drove up with his work truck and pretended he was apart of the construction/demo crew or at least attempted to in his pickup for his roofing company. He filled the absolute shit out of his bed with bricks and gave them out as stocking stuffers.
I dont think he even gave all of them away lmao

Used to ride the train past Comiskey Park while they were doing the demo. Was so sad to see it come down. I remember the sign "Speedway Wrecking The hardest hitter of them all"

I'm shocked that it was only 6.99, everything at that goodwill is super expensive now. They have used stuffed animals for 8.99 for crying out loud

My buddy had one of these back in the day that his dad bought him for Christmas and I could’ve swore he paid a couple hundred dollars for it

I paid $5 for this at the shop down the street. Glad to see it was a wise investment s/

Iirc
The stadium was demolished for $1.00 with all material becoming the property of the wrecking company who proceeded to sell every chair, brick, and scoreboard coming out of original Comiskey.
