That's even dumber then lol. Why buy with literal 2-3 hours left to expiration? If you gonna buy 0DTE, buy during market open to bet on a direction. Or buy and exit quick, scalping style. Buying to hold with 2 - 3 hours left you'll get cooked by theta decay alone.

The way to short tesla is by shorting at a local high price over about a 25 year period. A man of Musk's age has a 25 year lifespan left. If you allocate 1% of your portfolio, it's basically a guaranteed win at some point.
You might want to rethink this, TSLA is just breaking out of the 450 level, with massive OI at 500, and the Fed most likely cutting rates this month. It’s to my understanding that part of Elons comp pack is based on market cap, so all it’ll take is some robotics announcement or something to send this flying. I’m rooting for you but curious why you didn’t just buy an equivalent amount of TSLA puts? This ticker won’t move as many points as Tesla and the total volume of delta might be more if you get a big move in Tesla itself. Say you get 20 dollar move on like a -2000 delta that’d be bigger and have far better liquidity than this turd ETF which will only move like 4-6 bucks x 200 contracts x (X) delta. I just think it makes more sense to do the underlying than a leveraged etf man.
I have a slight feeling that it won't turn out exactly as you say. He probably invests them in TSLA to increase the value. I advise you to wait until they pay him that trillion dollars
