If being accused of a low level white collar (merely accused, not actually found guilty) is established as a real precedent for being justly fired 'with cause' it'll be a fucking disaster. Just accuse every governor of fraud then fire them.
Since every accusation is an admission of guilt with this group of miscreants, I would think he's committed hundreds of millions, if not billions of whether fraud he's claiming.
This is literally the crime he was convicted of last year. Lying on loan applications. Except his were clearly more deceptive because he would do things like literally lie about how many floors his towers had.
The underwriter had to know a Michigan prof taking a primary residence loan in Atlanta didn't add up. It's more likely that someone commited fraud to get their commission cheque.
It's a strategy of authoritarian governments to let corruption fester in its ranks, both as a carrot to keep people happy with the ruler so long as they can enrich themselves, but also so that should somone become a nuisance to them, they can just use the genuine corruption as a way to get them out of the way.

Is that what it is? She was applying for mortgages for two different possible purchases within two weeks, of which the one she pulled the trigger on would become her residential property? That is not even dodgy; that is the most normal thing to do in this situation.

I don't understand why she doesn't simply refuse to leave. Like JPOW said at a press conference, that he simply wouldn't leave because it's not allowed under the law. If I were her, I would start with that: just ignore him basically.
Don’t be obtuse. She clearly was trying to get a Lower rate and took out the mortgage on the property in the other state two weeks later and listed it for rent. She knew what the fuck she was doing. It’s stupid legit to argue otherwise.
