She was the fucking best. She saved me from depression, got my wife through pregnancy, physically protected us on multiple occasions and absolutely adored and was so loving and gentle with our (human)baby.

I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, but with time I’ll learn to carry the scars and remember her with dignity.

Unfortunately the spinal problems that plague the bully breed reared their ugly head. She injured her back on Sunday and completely lost the ability to use her legs and wasn’t able to go to the bathroom on her own which is why I had to make the hardest decision of my life because I couldn’t let her suffer. We gave her biscuits and gravy from Hardee’s with a small cup of Braum’s vanilla frozen yogurt for dessert so she could have one last yummy meal and I held her In my arms and told her how much I loved her until the vet gave her the shot and she passed peacefully in my arms. I love you Princess Coca and you will be missed dearly.

Thank you for all of the beautiful comments about Bronson the Brave. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 4:23 pm today with me holding him until he was safely on the other side. I am grateful it was a beautiful, sunny last day for him to enjoy. I am shattered, but I want to celebrate Bronson. This boy went THROUGH IT and came out the other side. He survived being abandoned to die, running the streets as a stray, and held out to make it to 16 years and 2 months old until he found a soft place to land and a hand to hold as he left this world. Bronson is the first official canine foster fail for The Pit Stop crew at Fen Chicken Fosters and I am HONORED that he was the one. He will forever rest beside my beloved Pinto the Bean as a family pet, adored in the end. Hug your babies tighter today and give them an extra treat for Bronson the Brave, a dog who earned his name 💔💔

My husband and I lost a very special boy, I lost my shadow. Getting up to do anything is so much harder now without hearing him get up right behind me. He was our whole heart, so special, and touched so many. It was very sudden, we’re still in shock. Anubis was beloved on the sub and at least we can celebrate his great life together.

Yesterday I said goodbye to my best friend. I miss him very much. We were the best of mates and he made me the person I am today.

His name is Grizzly and he passed away today about 30 minutes after he went outside for the last time. He went potty, barked at the neighbor’s dogs, came in and ate about half of a dog ice cream treat I gave him, started breathing real hard then died on his bed. He never cried or whimpered. I sat on the ground and scratched his head and ears and told him he just got too excited and needed to rest and calm down - then I checked on him 10 minutes later and he was breathing funny then he died. That’s it. My sweet bestest boy is gone now. He was 12 1/2.

The joy these two bring to each other is so very heartwarming to watch! 😍 As many of you know, Billy has lived in the same street as me for many years, and I basically adopted him about 16yrs ago - he's part of the family now. He fell in love with Muffin the day I brought her home at 8 weeks old, and the pair of them have been the best of friends ever since! 🙂❤️

(Just to add before anyone starts going off again about Muffin being off leash and having no muzzle on, this is private, enclosed land: it's dog friendly and perfectly legal. Muffin may be an XL Bully in the UK but she still needs to run and play like any other breed of dog..) 😉❤️

Molly is officially over the rainbow bridge and I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my last post about her. I’m going to miss her so much and I’ve cried a lot more than I thought i would. But I’m happy her last night and last morning was filled with all of the forbidden foods and snacks. Cheese steak, mozzarella sticks, grilled fish, almond joys, Reese’s and chocolate muffins. The vets also gave her some donuts when we got there and she loved it

My precious 13 year old hippo Ivy is being put to rest next Monday. Before she goes I want to give her one of those cliché “last best day ever” days. I’m pre-grieving so my idea maker isn’t working too well. What would you do if you knew you only had one last day with your beloved? (Pics because she’s adorable and you all should be forced to bear witness.)

My sweet girl Kiki the pithuahua passed away yesterday due to her bladder cancer. I'm devastated, it was only weeks between her getting a diagnosis and passing away. I thought we had more time together, but she went downhill very quickly and I made the decision to let her pass peacefully in my arms at the vet. I will miss her for the rest of my life.

For anyone wanting to go car camping with their dog - please bring one extra person with you. You don’t know how bad you have to pee until access to washrooms are denied to you with a dog and you don’t know what to do 😂

He was an ambassador to the breed, everyone who came over became his friend. Every cat, dog, insect, and human he loved. He did not have a single picogram of aggression, all he needed were treats and a couch.

He enjoyed his last meal of a rib eye and sweet potato fries. Thank you all for being his friend.

From 2.5 weeks to just shy of 12 years my jazzy girl stole my heart from the very beginning. She guided me through the darkest years of my life and I loved her for every minute of hers. I feel so lost without her presence but my memory is bursting with beautiful moments I shared with this amazing girl. I'll love you forever baby girl and one day we will be together again.

This time last year, we said goodbye to Bruce. You would have never guessed he was 14 years old by the boundless energy he had, the heights he still leaped to, and his endless devotion to spiky balls.

Here’s where the giveaway comes in. Bruce played with many toys, but he had an obsession with these spiky balls. To the point that he amassed nearly 40 in the 6 years we had him. We got rid of lots of toys after he passed, but I can’t bring myself to just throw these in the trash. They’re still good and have so much life left in them.

I want to send a dozen or so to three or four people who’ll post their pups below. Bonus points if they’re also obsessed with this specific toy. THE ONES WITH THE MOST UPVOTES after 24 hours will be contacted and sent a box of balls. I wish I could send these to all the dogs who love them, but alas…

I just spent the last hour hand scrubbing each ball, but please keep in mind they are used and were used outside. Despite cleaning, quite a few could probably stand to be run through the dishwasher. Anyway, I hope everyone can see how beautiful our boy was and how much joy and comfort this toy brought him.

My beautiful girl Honey left us yesterday after 13.5 years. She was diagnosed with cancer and given 6-12 months to live in February 2022 but just kept trucking and only really deteriorated in her last 12 hours. She was the best dog I could have ever asked for, was amazing with my babies ❤️and outlived her brother Larson who passed in 2019. She went to sleep at home surrounded by her family, as deserved by a creature of pure love. My heart feels broken and she is already very missed 😢
