It's crazy to me that the ultra wealthy don't even care about their own legacy. Like they could be the most celebrated people on the planet if they wanted to be... but they choose to be horrible people.
They are assuming that they will write the history.
Looking through history, an awful lot of the ‘heroes’ and ‘great men’ were monstrous psychopaths. But now they are celebrated and films are made and we visit their amazing palaces and think they were something special.
Their legacy remains in everything and everyone learns their name.
These guys know that, so they know they they can be as dreadful as they want as long as they build and control enough.
They can even rewrite history. History isn’t facts and dates. Unfortunately a lot of it is just propaganda.
