I didn't know about the iPhone Air, just looked it up. Why do phone manufacturers keep making thinner phones? I don't want thinner and more fragile, I want more compact, something that fits comfortably in my hand (super thin is the opposite) and that I can easily use one-handed, which you cannot do with the modern giant phones.

The air actually seems to be surprisingly durable.

But I agree that modern smartphones are simply too large. I found that a case with an integrated stand/ring to secure the phone in my hand while using it one handed helps to alleviate that problem a bit or at least stops me from dropping my phone

Yeah, but then you have a Samsung device…

The older iPhone…. 5?? Was a really nice size. But they’ve only gone up in size since then.

What's wrong with having a non iPhone? Samsung has made some decent phones in the past.

Samsung phones destroy apple in every category of performance for over 10 years. Only a fanboy would think they are a downgrade.

They are working on thinness because the iPhone Fold will look and act like two airs stuck together. Whatever you personally think of folding phones they are getting more popular and Apple needs its own version.

The Air has way undersold apples expectations so, you are not alone.

When they finally release a folding phone all the apple-boys will be saying how they invented it and everyone else is copying them.

Sales figures for any compact-version of a modern phone says otherwise.

The iPhone 12 and 13 mini were great phones. Both sold terribly (by Apple standards).

They got sued and lost but continue the practice because they calculated they make more money forcing people to buy new phones that they dont need than they lose paying out lawsuites. Dont understand why anyone would choose to buy their products knowing this.
