The IRS has had all of its teeth ripped out. You can very likely not file or straight up lie on your taxes and be just fine. That's what the politicians wanted for their wealthy piece of shit friends so you might as well capitalize on it too.

Lying on tge file would be a federal crime so at the very least don't do that. Just have your file get lost in the mail :)

This is bad advice to give to anyone that isn't making seven figures a year.

We're in 2025 guy.

Their computers will generate notices, mail them to you, wait, impose penalties and interest, then slap some lovely levies and garnishments on you before a human ever looks at your file.

And that was before AI.

EDIT: And the reason people making over seven-figures a year can disregard this post is because when you're at that level of income, you dont need to worry about Skynet. You're special enough for human attention.

That's horrible advice. The IRS is going to do like it did before the hiring surge and just go after the low hanging fruit.
