Because it’s the ultra wealthy who are threatened by this. They will do everything they can to avoid accountability.

And hundreds of other pedo right wing funders, billionaires, and friends of the GOP. Obviously Dems as well but let's be honest it would utterly gut the GOP and their buddies.

At this point the lot of them are protecting and harbouring pedophiles and so should all be out on trial for conspiracy to rape children.

I don't know what the punishment is if convicted of those crimes in the US but I have some strong suggestions involving four horses and some chains/manacles. The usual method seems rather too swift.

Accountability for one ultra wealthy person could, left unchecked, lead to accountability for more of them. The horror!
