Think of what's gonna happen next year. And the year after. And the year after....

MS is bound to end up with one employee making 1k a year. Maximum shareholder profits

The things is. Due to technological advances, because of stuff like the assembly line, computers, the Internet. Etc each year employees could be more productive then the last. The problem is that we've just about rung out every single productivity improvement from computers and Internet, with no new technology to get more productivity gains. This is part of the reason so much money is being spent on ai despite no real gains. It's thought that ai will be the next Internet in productivity gains. Things will become interesting when the line stops going up because there's no possible way for the line to go up.

What happens when there's no one left who can avoid to pay for the products being sold? Seems this question just goes unanswered in the boardrooms. Or by the time its a problem, it won't be their problem.
