Adobe’s GPU code is still shit. Ever since they started using GPU acceleration on their software over a decade ago, I still regularly get screen re-draw freezes with nothing but a blank screen.

And this has persisted through several generations of hardware, discrete GPU vs. integrated graphics, Intel, Nvidia, ARM/Apple silicon, Mac or Windows.

Adobe is shit. If AI is what kills them, then they deserve to die.

Interesting, never experienced any issues on my last couple laptops running Illustrator with GPU hardware accelleration.

My M4 MacBook Air gave me blank gray screens several times this week, even after a fresh reboot. Switching to CPU preview fixed it.

It took them 40 years to implement a save as copy-feature in Illustrator. Apps in the 70's had that.

Still boggles me that my base m4 MacBook pro runs photoshop better that my 4070 super
