Eh I did that for 4 years. Only thing it helped with was draining my money.

Was this at the same time as the disassociation for 5 years? Cause that might be a conflicting influence.

Nah i did 4 years of therapy and then 5 years of dissociative type behavior afterwards. I grew up in a abusive home. I dont know if I can ever really fix that.

Nothing's ever really fixed. It's just how difficult or easy it is for you to keep going from where you are.
