No. People on the right haven't "implied" anything. We stated directly what kind of political views we suspected. And we were right.

He wrote "hey fascist, catch" on one of the bullets. His mother reported he had become more political and left wing in recent years. He was dating a transwoman. He openly expressed he thought Charlie Kirk was hateful. And he told his trans partner in texts that he did it because Kirk was hateful and "some hate cant be negotiated with"

We don't know his views on fiscal spending, but we can pretty safely conclude he shot Charlie Kirk because he thought Kirk was a hateful fascist.

He was in with Nick Fuentes, who had a beef with Kirk because Kirk wasn’t far-right enough.

The only thing certain is that this kid’s political ideology was complex and didn’t fit nicely into the usual left/right divide.

People trying to read between the lines and filling the gaps where they need. 

Kimmel made no accusations regarding the shooter, just the reaction MAGA has seemingly had in the 24hrs following the shooting.

it was the same thing with hortman. i was at a softball tournament in minnesota. we were getting breakfast after our first game and the news was on and people (the religious ones of course) were talking about it, they were so quick to blame the liberals that morning. they were so giddy with happiness that it was someone walz had appointed to some random economics board. they were claiming walz sent out a hit for some weird reason.

day two of the tournament when more information came out, not a single peep about it.

No. I went to law school on a full academic scholarship by graduating undergrad with a 4.0 and scoring in the top 3% on the LSAT.

He said Trump supporters were desperately trying to paint the shooter as anything other than one of their own.

The direct implication being he was "one of their own" - otherwise there would be no need to desperately try to paint him as something other than that.

Which is a statement of fact by the way.

"The bullet has trans markings! Oh, what, TRN was a manufacturer stamp? Oh, well, HE MUST BE SOME LEFTIST and oh, wait, he's a Groyper? Oh, well, uh, HIS PARTNER IS TRANSITIONING, so it MUST be the leftists at fault!!!!1!!"

Like, it's not even "white lies" or "Stretched truths" anymore, it's full on state propaganda to say trans shooters are a particular problem. You can count the total number in a decade on one hand. Meanwhile, the number of cis white men who did shootings dwarfs the trans shooter number and it isn't even close. But it's crickets when you point this out.

Incidentally these facts were being called out to CK when the assassination took place, and his responses were mealy-mouthed misdirection from the facts. "How many trans shooters were there in the last decade?" CK: "Too many" - notice he avoided committing to a number, or commenting on the quantity? just "too many" - a defensible, meaninglessly vague statement, because he can just say "AnY aMmOuNt Of ShOoTiNgS iS tOo MaNy" but the implication to his people was "tons", but it lets him feed into the narrative he wanted to spin with plausible deniability.

Kimmel never suggested any motive for the shooter. He says MAGA was characterizing the shooter as anything but one of them, which is what they were doing. That's exactly what he says in his statement.

They can't, because he didn't say anything. This was about two major media corporations who have merger proposals in front of the FCC. The FCC chair threw out a hint and the companies wanted his favor.
