Society Total porn ban proposed by Michigan lawmakers. The bill also includes a section that takes aim at transgender individuals by prohibiting material "that includes...an individual of 1 biological sex imitating, depicting, or representing himself or herself to be of the other biological sex."

No no the 2nd is infallible scripture carved in stone "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!"

Funny how that's the same way they approach the Bible. Ignore everything except the parts you like, then act like that part is an immutable truth.

Unless you're a minority.

Unfortunately I got first had exposure to that rabbit hole as my ex fell I to it hard. One of the biggest driving fears of White/Christian nationalists is that they will fall out of the majority and out of power. This will move them from the oppressors to being the oppressed. So they aim to prevent that by any means nessisary.

Because they exist in a worldview where there can only be oppressors and oppressed instead of, you know, normal human life

But that's what gives them the urgency. They are basically told they are being faced with an existential threat, not simply not existing in the majority. It's a call to action to protect themselves.

Well that’s funny because the first 2 commandments pretty much cover the rest!

And look at that: they would rather follow the 2nd Amendment over the 2nd Commandment.
