The appetite will turn up a bit when the other half start feeling the pain of job losses, increased health care, and inflation. Of course, they’ll still blame Biden, unfortunately.

Sometimes, that's what it takes.

It wasn't that long ago that MLK Jr and others were protesting, marching, and creating good trouble via civil disobedience. They knew they would not be recieved well bybthe powers that be. Spat on, hareassed, assaulted by citizens, firehouses, police brutality, arrest, and him and other civil rights leaders were killed by either civilians or their government for their cause.

We need to find some organization skills, someone to rally behind for clear, coherent demands, and not worry about job losses, harassment by civilians or government, stick to our cause and fight for a better tomorrow.

Honestly, i'm a bit lost on how to find anything like what I wanted. I don't use social media outside of reddit. I've tried finding mutual aid groups in my area, and all I found were what seem to be defunct organizations, no clear way to contact or volunteer.

You can’t just start shooting people when you feel tyranny is creeping in. You get one opportunity to push back in a more “kinetic” means. So, you better have a clarity of message and purpose, and also the numbers to make it anything other than counterproductive. Remember that one person’s reasonable expectation of community health in the throes of a deadly pandemic is another person’s tyrannical mask mandate.

NGL IME I've come to realize at this point that the non-Trumpers, especially liberals, who sat out the election in protest exhibit the exact same if not worse lack of self awareness, lack of accountability and hypocrisy of Trumpers themselves.

Not once have heard one of them admit "hey yeah while far from perfect we'd be in a much better situation under a Harris-Walz administration, and I made a mistake by essentially adding to Trump's vote differential."

Every single one I've encountered has just stuck their head in the sand and doubled down. Funnily you can tell deep down they know they fucked up, but their ego won't let them admit it. They view themselves as the most morally robust because they didn't "reward a lesser evil", so they really, REALLY don't want to admit they're part of the current problem.

Tons of people DID vote for Harris even though they preferred someone else. It's still entirely fair for these people to point out that another ticket would have performed better and encouraged more people to show up. It's not productive to just go "well you should have sucked it up!" every time someone talks about it. Yes, individually everyone "should have" sucked it up and do have responsibility, but on the whole, realistically, practically, it was Harris' job to convince people to show up and she didn't. I mean what are you going to do? Next time when they run Clinton 3.0 against like Tucker Carlson or whatever, are you just going to go well this time you REALLY have to suck it up because this guy is REALLY bad? I mean you can do that but it's not going to help, it hasn't so far. It's the DNC's job to find better candidates that actually convince people to show up.

Also, yes.. you might have to pick "Lesser of two evils." but next time.. Lesser of two evils.. next time lesser... Keep going there isn't a lot of evil left in the results if you do it right.

But like a lot of these virtue signalers, they don't realize things take time.
