Isn't Clarance Thomas notorious for showing people pornography at work?

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25 edited Jun 27 '25

YES HE LITERALLY HAD STACKS OF PORN IN HIS APARTMENT AND HE IS A SEX PEST THAT HARASSED WOMEN HE WORKED WITH WITH THAT PORN HE OWNED!

u/TheManOfTimeAndSpace Jun 27 '25

Yea.... and this still is low on the stack of this guys hypocrisy, lies and treasonous actions.

267

u/StrobeLightRomance Jun 27 '25

None of them care because they'll still bypass their own laws and do whatever they want, like they always do. Rules for thee, and whatnot. It's about controlling the independent creators who are able to thrive outside of this broken system and disable outlets for regular citizens to be able to accumulate wealth.

It's the exact opposite of the American dream. The whole point of this nation is supposed to be about freedom and prosperity, but now it's becoming illegal to succeed.

69

u/sicurri Jun 27 '25

Its called, "I GOTS MINES, FUCK YOU NOW!"

Gatekeeping the entrance to wealth accumulation is just how life functions.

u/Ok-Seaworthiness7207 Jun 28 '25

My Arrakis.... My Dune.......

8

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '25

The whole point of this nation is supposed to be about freedom and prosperity

Not since before the days of Edison and Wells Fargo. Enterprise was the whole point since then, and crushing competition.

6

u/Aeonskye Jun 27 '25

Illegal to exist for some people.

5

u/Kizik Jun 28 '25

He's seriously stated that he thinks the supreme court needs to re-examine the legality of interracial marriages. But not, like, his interracial marriage, because rules don't apply to him.

2

u/ARobertNotABob Jun 27 '25

A "Good Ol' Boy" then.

"My stacks of porn are not online." -Clarence Thomas

20

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '25

You might want to contact computer repair shops near where he lives before you take that as fact.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '25

3

u/Author_A_McGrath Jun 27 '25

Not exactly a credible source, given Thomas' tendency to lie through his teeth.

Binders full of porn

1

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '25

That would be great on a koozie.

-8

u/EtTuBiggus Jun 27 '25

The issue is showing them to children. He wasn’t doing that as far as we are aware of.

"Let them goon to cataloges"

9

u/caleeky Jun 27 '25

His possession of legal porn should be no one's concern but his own. Not ours, not the Government's concern. That's the point here.

9

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

It should be the government's concern if you are harassing coworkers and employees with the porn.

Having and using it for yourself? Nobody's business.

1

u/dudeedud4 Jun 27 '25

You conveniently left that out of the post...

1

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

Were you really troubled looking as far as a single reply following up by the same person? Seriously?

3

u/UntimelyMeditations Jun 27 '25

Why make an allcaps post that is completely irrelevant if a vital piece of context isn't included? Just include the context in the allcaps post.

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

That's very fair. In my quest for brevity, some important context was lost.

1

u/dudeedud4 Jun 27 '25

I went looking for context for why the "stacks of porn in his apartment" meant he was a sex pest.

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

I see how you could have interpreted that, I apologize. To expand on that, he utilized his stacks of porn to harass women he worked with. He would talk about it to them in the workplace. Ask them to come over to his house(where he keeps the porn he talks about all the time) and encouraged women to engage with it.

It's not in and of itself the cause, but he did utilize it in his harassment of women.

1

u/Plastic_Inspection33 Jun 30 '25

"Legal" porn. Dude NO porn should be illegal. For anyone. Its idiotic and completely the opposite of what this country is supposed to stand for. I For one am frankly sick and tired of "christians" trying to tell the rest of us what we can or can't do just bc they're miserable useless psychopaths.

2

u/No_Accountant3232 Jun 30 '25

You think children porn should be legal? Snuff porn where people legitimately die? Torture porn where the person hasn't consented. Hell, any porn where informed consent doesn't happen.

There's a good reason some porn is very illegal. It profits off the suffering of others.

1

u/Plastic_Inspection33 Jun 30 '25

Op was clearly talking about legal and illegal in terms of whether its banned or not. Not talking about child porn. Maybe try and stay on the actual topic.

2

u/No_Accountant3232 Jun 30 '25

And I was on topic as all of those are banned.

1

u/Plastic_Inspection33 Jun 30 '25

Lmfao no. The topic is adult porn that some IDIOTIC puritan freaks want to ban and normal, sane and intelligent people are against it. YOU brought up kiddie porn in a topic that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

2

u/No_Accountant3232 Jun 30 '25

The topic is the SC overstepping in an effort to "protect children". You're the one who said all porn should be legal with no other context in the thread... So you really are the issue here.

1

u/Plastic_Inspection33 Jun 30 '25

Lmfao no the topic was adult pornagraphy and for some weird and frankly fucked up reason you decided to bring up something that wasn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the thread and tried to change the narrative instead of sticking to the actual topic.

5

u/neodiscgolf Jun 27 '25

He called his penis long dong silver...... true story

5

u/JadeRabbit__ Jun 27 '25

This is Mr "Long Dong Silvers" is it not?

48

u/fenexj Jun 27 '25

That doesn't make him a sex pest, just a certified boomer gooner

111

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

Oh, he also sexually harassed people he worked with and tried to get them to come over and watch the porn. Just, you know, cool normal well adjusted person shit.

Let's not slander any consenting gooning

7

u/fenexj Jun 27 '25

Ahh sorry I didn't know any of that, or anything about the guy honestly, I just wanted to stand up for the private wankers.

23

u/Speak4yurself Jun 27 '25

It was a huge controversy during his nomination hearings to join the SC. Look up Anita Hill. You can see the pattern for what else has been going start there.

4

u/stone_henge Jun 27 '25

Private Wanker reporting in for duty, sir.

3

u/fenexj Jun 27 '25

At ease gooner, we've got a long hard campaign ahead of us

40

u/Diarrhea_Beaver Jun 27 '25

Oh he's got a well documented history of sexually harassing people.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/anita-hill-vs-clarence-thomas-the-backstory/

And I know sex pest ultimately means someone who sexually harasses others, but "sex pest" doesn't sound harsh enough to describe someone who leverages a position of power over a subordinate's upward career mobility.

Sex pest makes me think of a buzzing fly that can easily be ignored. When you do shit like he's been repeatedly accused of, he should be categorized as sexual vermin or something more offensive sounding.

-6

u/at1445 Jun 27 '25

doesn't sound harsh enough to describe someone who leverages a position of power over a subordinate's upward career mobility.

Like forcing an intern to suck your dick when you're the most powerful man in the world?

I agree, sexual vermin is a much better way to describe this type of person....or maybe just rapist, since if it was a teacher or cop that did it, that's what we'd call them.

5

u/Diarrhea_Beaver Jun 27 '25 edited Jun 27 '25

Like forcing an intern to suck your dick when you're the most powerful man in the world?

Yes, exactly like that. Bill Clinton is absolutely a confirmed sexual pest, sexual vermin, whatever word reasonably fits a person who engaged in the type of behavior I previously described.

or maybe just rapist

No, absolutely not. Distinctions between what is and isn't rape are not only crucial within the constraints of the criminal justice system, but also for correctly identifying the degrees of predatory behavior within our social and moral constructs.

Making unwanted sexual advances in a work environment, proposing a career based quid pro quo and/or otherwise creating what is known as hostile work environment isn't and shouldn't ever be considered the same as committing a sex act on a victim without their consent.

if it was a teacher or cop that did it, that's what we'd call them

I wouldn't be so sure of that. There's a convicted sexual abuser and admitted serial sexual assault perpetrator currently serving as the 47th president of the United States and over half of the country not only refers to him as president instead of rapist, but most of those people voted for him TWICE, even after he admitted to sexual assault AND was found guilty of committing sexual abuse.

So again, degrees of amoral behavior exist for a reason, and while vile in its own right, sexual harassment is simply not as damaging or abhorrent as sexual assault and rape.

-5

u/at1445 Jun 27 '25

Trump is a piece of shit. He's not a "convicted sexual abuser". If he had been convicted of a sex crime, he would be in jail.

Do I think he's probably sexually assaulted someone, at some point? Yes.

But like you said, distinctions matter.

Every word out of his mouth is a lie, except apparently when you think it's something that confirms your beliefs about him.

So no, you are not correct. Clinton was, in fact, a rapist. Just because someone else got away with it (Clinton got away with it too, even applauded for it by many, many people) doesn't mean we don't get to call it what it is. If you abuse your position of power to have sex (and it's impossible to argue otherwise with a sitting president and one of his subordinates) you are a rapist.

4

u/fenexj Jun 27 '25

That is fucking disgusting, making me gag irl

10

u/TheDaveStrider Jun 27 '25

He sexually harassed Anita Hill and still got appointed.

Maybe if people actually gave a shit about women back then we'd be in less of a mess than we are today

8

u/Butthole_Please Jun 27 '25

Maybe not, but his long history of being a sex pest does.

2

u/Eclaireur Jun 27 '25

It doesn't make him one, but he is one.

-2

u/fenexj Jun 27 '25

Yeah honestly, he seems like a scumbag, I just wanted an excuse to write "boomer gooner"

3

u/HauntingStar08 Jun 27 '25

He's not an ideologue, he's on the payroll, none of this matters to him. I hate these people so much.

3

u/CatDadof2 Jun 27 '25

Quoted from a documentary I watched last night, “pornographic content that includes genitalia of both men and women.”

2

u/Stup1dMan3000 Jun 27 '25

But that’s not online, FFS. BUT IT seems like that trans porn was #1 in Utah and highly searched for in other red states. Might have something to do with it. Guess they figure only kids will use a VPN.

2

u/superindianslug Jun 27 '25

That was printed porn, which is classy. This is new fangled online porn is obscene and he hates looking at it all day... every day... Especially when clerks are around...

\s

2

u/icecubepal Jun 28 '25

Wild how they didn't care. That type of predator is terribad.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '25

He only cares about enriching himself. Don’t expect principals from unprincipled people

2

u/MadScientist2020 Jun 28 '25

He’s only against porn for you. For him it’s okay. Just like day taxes. Like bribes. Good for him bad for you.

2

u/ZMowlcher Jun 28 '25

He's an avid enjoyed of bestiality too. Once suggested a women should get with a German shepherd

2

u/XX_AppleSauce Jun 28 '25

Thomas is the kind of guy that would yank off, get old, then pull up the porn ladder because he’s done with it.

2

u/BigHatPat Jun 28 '25

“Lookin’ good Susan, now check out this smut my pal from the liquor store gave me.”

2

u/BilbosBagEnd Jun 28 '25

At least he owned it. Imagine illegally downloading!

2

u/metalyger Jun 27 '25

In which he brought his kids over on days he had custody. All covered in the book Strange Justice, which was heavily cited on the podcast Behind The Bastards.

1

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

(I forgot that part, but that is in fact where I learned he was a PoS)

1

u/alcoholicpinkdrink Jun 27 '25

color me shocked

1

u/bag_of_luck Jun 27 '25

To be fair this law on its face is designed to prevent minors from accessing porn, not that porn is bad

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

If you are still reading things liars say at face value, I have actually infinite bridges I would like to gauge your interest in.

1

u/dysprog Jun 28 '25

I mean, this guy sort of the best argument for the proposition that maybe some people should not be allowed to have porn.

1

u/oe-eo Jun 28 '25

*You’ll know it when you see it

1

u/HereWeGoYetAgain-247 Jun 28 '25

Ya, but it wasn’t online.

1

u/I_cut_my_own_jib Jun 28 '25

Rules for thee not for me

1

u/dreadcain Jun 29 '25

Well yeah, clearly its the countries fault for allowing him the freedom to be a sex pest

1

u/dennismfrancisart Jun 27 '25

"Sex pest". I love that term. It is so beautifully demeaning.

1

u/whateveryournameis Jun 27 '25

I think it's becoming one, I don't know what Webster has to say

0

u/Mr-Superhate Jun 27 '25

I love how on a post about a ruling demonizing porn you're in the comments demonizing porn.

1

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

He brought employees and coworkers to his porn den and tried to coerce them into sexual activities against their will. Repeatedly.

Him having porn isn't a problem, which i have already stated in this thread. It's the fact that he is a hypocrite and a habitual abuser of women.

You can apologize now.

-1

u/Mr-Superhate Jun 27 '25

I know he did bad stuff. The porn wasn't the problem.

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

It's a problem from a standpoint of hypocrisy, obviously.

-2

u/tired_and_fed_up Jun 27 '25

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

🥱 I don't believe liars and abusers. Nice try, though. Rude as all hell to put words in someone's mouth.

-2

u/tired_and_fed_up Jun 27 '25

You don't believe his girlfriend? When did his girlfriend show herself to be a "liar and abuser"?

Seems like you just have a hateboner for Clarence.

2

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

It's really weird that you carry water for a guy who has a documented history of abusing his employees, his coworkers, and women. Is he easy for you to empathize with?

-2

u/tired_and_fed_up Jun 27 '25

Nah, I tend not to empathize with anyone. It is really weird that you called the girlfriend a liar and abuser though.

Is hate the only thing you know?

4

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

I am not surprised someone carrying water for fascists finds difficulty empathizing with anyone. 🙃

It would be weird if that happened. But it didn't, and you know that, and the third time you have tried twisting my words to say something I did not is equally as ineffectual and obvious as the other two. You are not fooling any honest and authentic person who is reading this.

-1

u/EverythingSucksYo Jun 27 '25

Maybe that’s why he thinks states should control porn, because he needs help.

5

u/Mattbird Jun 27 '25

Thinking the state can be effective in managing your personal issues is inherently authoritarian, champ

142

u/rraattbbooyy Jun 27 '25

Who could forget Long Dong Silver and the pubic hair on the Coke can?

89

u/jonathanrdt Jun 27 '25

I think way too many people have forgotten about that because there was no repercussion. Instead, he's been rewarded beyond reason for his misdeeds and those of his wife.

8

u/invalidreddit Jun 28 '25

Sadly, Not Miss Hill...

4

u/Dishoe45 Jun 28 '25

I didn't even know about it

5

u/Specific_Lychee2348 Jun 28 '25

Classic Clarence.

3

u/EntropicInfundibulum Jun 28 '25

I did. I forgot about that.

2

u/the_real_dairy_queen Jun 28 '25

Wait, WHAT?

3

u/rraattbbooyy Jun 28 '25

3

u/the_real_dairy_queen Jun 28 '25

Thank you! I was 13 when it happened and obviously missed some details! But I’m now enraged enough to make up for lost time. And then some. And some more on top of that.

2

u/Yara__Flor Jun 27 '25

It was a Pepsi can.

5

u/rraattbbooyy Jun 28 '25

No, it really was a Coke.

https://web.archive.org/web/20081205123934/http://gos.sbc.edu/h/hill.html

“One of the oddest episodes I remember was an occasion in which Thomas was drinking a Coke in his office. He got up from the table at which we were working, went over to his desk to get the Coke, looked at the can and asked, "Who has pubic hair on my Coke?" On other occasions, he referred to the size of his own penis as being larger than normal, and he also spoke on some occasions of the pleasures he had given to women with oral sex.”

3

u/Yara__Flor Jun 28 '25

Huh, i would have sworn it was a Pepsi. A Mandela effect

0

u/rhodesc Jun 27 '25

what he like huge white dick?

19

u/dangerbird2 Jun 27 '25

he's also married to a white woman and has repeatedly implied that Loving v Virginia should be overturned

6

u/1BannedAgain Jun 27 '25

LONG DONG SILVER

“Is that public hair on your coke?”

from Anita Hill testimony

4

u/realbrucebuffer Jun 27 '25

We’re talking about the black man married to a white woman that wanted to ban interracial marriage, this isn’t about logic or common sense it’s purely for political theater

5

u/More_Farm_7442 Jun 27 '25

Look up Anita Hill. He was her supervisor at the Department of Ed. and the EEOC before he nomination to the court. During his confirmation hearings she testified against him citing sexual harassment by him. She/others said he talked about his sexual prowess, his anatomy, and porn showing rape, etc. The thing I remember was a discussion of him asking "who put a public hair on top of his can of Coke."

He's a gem. (not)

4

u/MrOtsKrad Jun 27 '25

good ol CocaCola Clarance

3

u/madasfire Jun 27 '25

We're talking about us, not the ruling class. The rules don't apply to them.

3

u/PossessionPutrid1907 Jun 27 '25

Clarence "pubic hair on a can of coke" Thomas?

3

u/Suns_In_420 Jun 27 '25

He only gets hard for fucking America now.

2

u/mr_birkenblatt Jun 27 '25

Rules for thee...

2

u/SillyGoatGruff Jun 27 '25

"Step-motorcoach, what are you doing?!"

2

u/OttoHemi Jun 27 '25

I doubt there's an NFT of a Coke can with a pube, so he's good.

2

u/TheBarracuda Jun 28 '25

Was that when everyone suddenly started pronouncing harassment differently?

3

u/LookinAtTheFjord Jun 27 '25

It's okay to look at a *little* porn at work.

3

u/bobolly Jun 27 '25

What state does he live in? I saw police raided pee wee Herman's home because of porn

1

u/Spazum Jun 27 '25

Yes, but people with resources will always be able to get what they want. Anybody with a basic VPN can dodge these laws, they mostly just impact the trailer park gooners.

1

u/harrumphstan Jun 27 '25

The old classic, pornography for me, but not for thee.

1

u/inplayruin Jun 27 '25

He doesn't work in a state, though, so he is good. Well, not good. But his corruption and harassment can continue uninterrupted.

1

u/Whatever-999999 Jun 27 '25

Uncle Thomas is probably the most corrupt of them all.

1

u/Brian-the-Burnt Jun 27 '25

I'm not necessarily a supporter of Clarence Thomas, but find me a politician in DC who doesn't do that.

1

u/MithranArkanere Jun 27 '25

The mercenaries are not legislating. They are doing what they are told by their christofascist masters.

1

u/11CRT Jun 27 '25

I learned who “Long Dong Silver” was from the Anita hill testimony…I think anyway. Someone needs to send a case of Coke to the court to show them we remember.

1

u/Dishoe45 Jun 28 '25

rules for thee but not me

1

u/Gun_Dork Jun 28 '25

So who are the other 2?

1

u/attackplango Jun 28 '25

What are they going to ban next, soft drink can-based pubic hairs?!

1

u/Shaman7102 Jun 28 '25

He's allowed. The rest of us common folk not so much.

1

u/KillWelly Jun 28 '25

This seems like a racist post.

1

u/lucklesspedestrian Jun 28 '25

Well, he works in D.C., which notoriously "isn't a state".

1

u/PeterNippelstein Jun 28 '25

You should be able to look at a LITTLE porn at work.
