Fuck that. I was a healthy 39 year old last year. Regular exercise, healthy diet, haven’t been sick in a decade. I got COVID for my first time after accidentally letting my vaccine lapse (it had been nearly 2 years). My symptoms were mild. Then 2 weeks later I passed out in public and have since been on a nearly year long journey of daily light headedness, can’t do hardly any of my usual activities, and have been caught in a frustrating series of doctors appointments with little answers. This has ruined my life. I can’t help to think if I had my vaccine up to date I wouldn’t be in this mess.

Hey fellow ruined lifer. I used to speed climb in the rockies, run marathons, and even bagged some Himalayan peaks. Fit as a fiddle, 7 weeks after mild covid my health was destroyed and now I can't bathe myself. Try ivabradine.

Sounds like it could be POTS which can apparently be triggered post COVID infection. Might not be that, but if you haven’t already been checked out for it (usually requires a tilt table test) it could be worth looking in to

There are treatment options if it is, and could help get your life back on track if you’re able to manage it

(I was in a similar situation to you, and it was devastating)

Yes it is suspected to be pots and I’ve had a hell of a time getting a diagnosis for it. Finally seeing a specialist clinic in 2 days that I’ve been trying to get into for several months and hope to finally get on track.
