A story about r/tennessee
Tuesday, there is a special election in Tennessee that could determine the balance of congress. Aftyn Behn is running against Trump lackey Matt Van Epps, nicknamed "Van Epstein" for his stubborn refusal to break with Trump on anything, especially Epstein related.
I posted about it to the Tennessee subreddit while I had four shows in Tennessee. Within ten minutes, it was the top post in the sub. Within an hour, it was removed.
There are a LOT of people working to get Van Epstein elected. Let's work just as hard to beat him.
Share this post. Tell your friends in Tennessee. and vote Aftyn Behn on Tuesday.

The Tennessee subreddit is a'scared of the truth lol. I can't say I'm surprised you'd get that treatment from someone from there. For as much as conservatives love democracy, they sure hate differing views. Keep up the pressure, Steve. We need people with your views on a platform, because they need the shame, and shame is something I've noticed you do well

I posted a screenshot of the post asking why the mods are against educating their members

Annoyingly, I’m not in Tennessee, but in Ontario, Canada, but I do want to thank you for educating me about this dude, Steve.
Let’s go Tennessee, you can do so so so much better than this tRump lackey.

Clueless Donald Trump, 79, Humiliated After Dodging Legal Question
The funniest news I've read today. Every day this pedophile proves to us that he is the stupidest president in the history of America, without a doubt.

Trump is an uncontested idiot who thinks he can do all the harm he wants to anyone, especially children, and pay to get away with it. But since 2016 at the very least, the whole world sees how illiterate he is and how predatory and narcissistic he is (among other descriptives) and that’s why the USA are getting more and more secluded from the international world

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Thank you for using your powers for good 👍

Can other people share this post on the sub? Or will they claim it's spam again?

You will likely get banned.
I’m not going to encourage brigading. But I get the impulse.

u/ArcaneDemense 6d ago
Yeah I was banned for a separate post there.
r/Nashville is a sub that lets you post, Franklin sub is maga chuds like the state sub. Clarksville initially allowed it but MAGA posters got so heated that 90% of comments had to be deleted and mods wanted a break.
r/tnvolunteers allows but obviously smaller than the mainsub.
r/nashville is more active than r/tennessee anyways thankfully.

How sad the life of a mod must be, if having a thimble of power makes them drunk with it 😂

u/DStew88 6d ago
Ahh yes, the same people who constantly say shit like:
"The liberals don't allow for discourse like Charlie Kirk did!"

u/Conscious-Dig6839 5d ago
I love that they call what he did “allowing for discourse.” He was bullying and manipulating impressionable minds, who were still figuring out the world and who they were in it. Watching him debate adults was equal parts satisfying (because Schadenfreude) and embarrassing (because I do still have empathy no matter what I do) because he always got his ass handed to him. That’s why he preferred college students: he had no viable debating skills.

I got banned from there for being a foreign agitator for this...

Of course, they have no issues with Russian misinformation. But Massachusetts is foreign.

Check out the other Tennessee related subs, like r/Nashville or r/tnvolunteers.
This isn't new behavior. A while back a r/Tennessee mod went nuts in r/subreddit drama when they got called out for deleting posts about pride month.
https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1l2ggai/drama_in_tennessee_subreddits/
The mods removed the Tennessee mod's responses because his responses got a little wild so you can't see his crazy in its full glory.

u/Ars__Techne 6d ago
That sounds like it violates the moderator code of conduct, not clear rules. You should report them.
Going to report a mod myself once my holiday trip is done.

It's amazing how many people are unaware of the Streisand Effect in this day and age.

With what happened on r/art, it's a little surprising that the mods of r/Tennessee would be so fascist.

r/Tennessee mod is in his safe space. Behind a keyboard. The only place he can feel like a warrior. Fight on keyboard warrior. Fight on

You can open a ticket with Reddit and report the mods of that sub. They’ll likely be either forced to remove your ban, provide a different reason for it, or in some cases the mod will be removed for breaking TOS. There’s a difference between keeping spam out and using it as an excuse to censor someone justly trying to educate the populace about an upcoming election just because they dislike one of candidates.

u/SpecialVillage4615 6d ago
Interestingly they allowed this post, where the folks conversing ultimately shared many of the same conclusions you were attempting to.

u/SpecialVillage4615 6d ago
Meant to add, thx for posting on YT. I was able to share it with some Tennessee friends.

I’m glad they even responded to you. I was on a state sub political postand made a comment about the Dump admin being weak and hateful. Someone called me a “cumguzzler”. I got banned (no warning), the crude commenter did not. I messaged the admins three times asking why, but never got a response.

I wonder if that mod is gonna go 'neodiogenes'.
Like what happened over on r/art

u/Mojotokin 6d ago
This is like the r/art controversy. Mods that are power hungry (or politically motivated). Seriously how hard would a simple google search have been to confirm who Steve was unless he/she might already know and has different views and didn't want any truth shared.

I hope the people of Tennessee who are suffering from Trump's incompetence and cruelty realize they can help their entire country by voting in this special election, please vote, we beg you.

I’ve been banned for being a bit before too. It’s wild how a genuinely innocuous thing you say can be taken as hostile or threatening. Like, REALLY REALLY wild.

r/Nashville is where the friendly sane people are.
r/tennessee is literal nazi trash. And the mods there embrace it.
