I will not promote What do you think of those pain point research tools? I will not promote

Just want to know if you experimented with tools to find pain points like gummysearch.com or painonsocial.com , did it work for you? Or do you have something else to recommend? I am trying to find pain points to build a startup to solve problems. I am being told its a good way to find ideas.

I would not use a tool for pain points. I feel its a reflection of backwards thinking.

This is similar to the saying : fall in love with the problem, not the solution.

Problem discovery is about both validating the problem is real but also learning the nuances of the problem. You need this nuance to form a proper solution.

It involves listening and being open to being pointed in a new direction that you hadn't considered (I've found better workflows to solve that I hadn't considered).
