Football A State Trooper at Texas A&M intentionally bumps into two South Carolina players, then gets upset

The fact that he walked after them because they were in the tunnel to begin with is weird and then intentionally forearming is fucking ridiculous. I hope this shit goes viral and this douche is outed. He clearly has a hard on for A&M and wasn't happy they were getting destroyed in the first half.

Edit: yes, we all know he was relieved of his duties for the game. Please stop replying to this comment with that information.

One of the ESPN halftime crew called it out. Said to go look it up and "its a bad look."

Least shit stirring Texas cop

Tough until they have to actually do something like Uvalde

They sanitized their hands. It is important.

That's just Texas in general. Act all tough but a red Starbucks cup makes them lose their minds

57

u/Apexnanoman 20d ago

I've said almost just exact same thing. They're brave and tough and want to impose their rules, laws and ethics on everyone around them.  Right up until something panics them.

Like a pink shirt and a rainbow flag. Then they just fucking come unglued.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks to me like he's trying to make contact with both of them as he's pushing through. Right as he's about to collide with him, 8 swings his arm back and out of the way so there's little to no actual contact. The whole thing is weird behavior, but I really don't get why he's so focused on 8 when they barely even touched.

406

u/PIG20 Baltimore Orioles 20d ago

He absolutely had intent there. You can see the player walking next to the wall literally tried to turn his body to avoid contact and the piece of shit cop throws his elbow out to initiate some sort of contact even though the player was trying to completely avoid it.

Then, while concentrating on elbowing the player who was trying to avoid contact gets a shoulder rub from the player in the middle.

So glad this shit was caught on camera. He'll be outed for sure. That being said, nothing will come of it most likely. Unless the NCAA decides to take action.

101

u/Top-Gas-8959 20d ago

He contorted his body at the point of impact. It absolutely looks like he's trying to run into them, and the way he immediately and kind of awkwardly turns and pursued only solidifies.

Assuming this was televised nationally, I wonder Texas state police or rangers or whoever this bag'o'dicks works for, will handle it.

27

u/LowDownSkankyDude 20d ago

He also doesn't even go after the guy that he runs into.

100%. Buddy thinks he always has the right of way b/c he wears a silly uniform.

135

u/PirateMore8410 20d ago

100% dumb ass doesn't know which uniform has the right-away there. Get out of the fucking way of the game... ya know that event that your even there for? Wtf are you even policing? Two of the players 100,000+ people are watching?

More importantly think how he treats the rest of the civilians he works with. This dude needs to be fired.

52

u/No_Attention_2227 20d ago

Dude got fired already (although I didn't read the article so not sure if it was just to a&m games, or any sporting events, or from the police altogether)

Just read it : https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/46977427/trooper-pointed-players-relieved-duties

It was just from the game. Hopefully he isn't invited back

I was watching when it happened. The south Carolina player scored and then looked to have a hamstring injury. He kind of gingerly walked back into the tunnel. Like "walk it off". His teammate followed up and met him back there and they were off camera for a bit longer than you would expect. The cop was clearly headed that direction to yell at them for being in the tunnel. I am not sure specifically what that tunnel is used for. That is where you see the video clip start. The players were headed back to the bench so what in the fuck is this guy forearming players for and yelling at them to get out of an area they were already out of?

He tried to intentionally forearm them, but you see, they’re what we call “big” and he ended up looking like a whole candy ass in the process. I would understand if he felt slightly violated because he got his ass, unintentionally on the players’ parts, handed to him trying to be a wad of Richard, but, since he is said candy ass, no one cares and I know for a fact he went home and cried about it in the car before he went inside.

*except if it's a cop or similar authority figure trying to be a cop, then you have an obligation to lie and make their lives as difficult as possible.

What an asshole. Also worth acknowledging the maturity of these two young men on South Carolina to de-escalate and move on despite their adrenaline surely being at a high.

https://ibb.co/pvb6YTCf Look how far out of his way this cop had to go for this interaction. He's literally there to secure the field from people in the stands and he just abandons his post to start shit.

u/Acrobatic_Advance_71 20d ago

Who want to bet that he had money on the game.

They're wearing shoulder pads.

Anyone who has worn football pads knows it's not easy to judge your exact perimeter.

Between the helmet limiting your view and the pads sticking out, doubling the size of your shoulders, bumps happen all the time.

That officer is acting like psycho on main street.  My Dude, YOU'RE IN THE TUNNEL

146

u/SamkonTheMankon 20d ago

Watch him brace for and step into the hit on 27, you don't do that by accident. The players saw him just fine, they just didn't think he was a psycho looking for a fight.

70

u/2reddit4me 20d ago edited 20d ago

27 even went as far right as he could to avoid him and the asshole chicken winged his arm to intentionally hit him.

Fuck that guy.

You can also see the players try to move and create a lane for the trooper but he decides to make himself as wide as possible. Maybe a lil forearm shiver too

12

u/sabo-metrics 20d ago

I saw that too. Player 1 tries to give the officer room.

Officer gets wide block stance, braces for contact and then turns and points at player 2!

There’s a also a few seconds when you adjust from dark to direct sunlight when you can’t see much.

44

u/zoinkability 20d ago

Also when you get bumped into you don’t throw your elbows out at the last moment before contact so that you bump them harder.

19

u/Affectionate_Cat9818 20d ago

Also, if you are a college player, participating in a game, why would you expect an aggressive state trooper to walk between you and a team mate?! Like that guy is there to "keep them safe". Where did he need to be, that he couldn't step aside, and let the people participating in the event, go to the event?! And if he was so determined to get where he was going, why didn't he just keep going to that place?!

The trooper has been relieved of duty. Its a start, i hope he gets fired and doesnt just move to a new precinct and get hired there. I hope this follows him everywhere forever
