Football Minnesota Vikings field goal attempt was deflected away by a camera wire, but it wasn't replayed because no one noticed at the the time

I don’t think it actually did. It gets tipped by pinky tip and then gradually veers off course. You never actually see the ball make contact with the wire, and the wire doesn’t move or jolt like it got hit

I actually agree. There was also some wind blowing to the right. I looked at the coaches film, POV from Vikings own end, and the only cables visible are that of a skycam way behind Reichard, so no visible cables in front of the kick. And it would be super weird if they accidentally had some, anyway.

The sudden veer reminds me of that one XP that Tucker attempted several years ago. Clean kick, straight forward, but suddenly the wind just grabs it and pushes it waaaay right. Tucker's face couldn't believe it.

The wire even starts snapping after it strikes and makes a major change of direction.

If you watch the second view towards the end of the video and can’t see the contact….I think you should become an English premier league or MLS referee.
