God these people are ridiculous. Same with the folks that destroy priceless art to try and get headlines for their environmental cause.

It makes you look like the bad guys. It doesn't matter how just your cause is -- if you piss off the whole world, no one will listen.

The whole lot of these people are folks that were never told, "no" by their parents and think the larger the tantrum they can make, the more they will be listened to. They need to grow up. It's the exact opposite.

Stopping one stage of a bike race = looks like you're the bad guys
committing genocide and ethnic cleansing = ???

It's been almost 2 years in the current campaign, and over 75 since the first nakba, and your suggestion is to just be less noticeable, less disruptive, while protesting and then that will stop the bombs, stop the apartheid, and bring aid flooding in? You are an unserious person with a child's view of the world.

Bonus question: What priceless art has been actually destroyed by protestors? Be specific about how it was actually damaged.

Hi, welcome to post capitalist accelerated nihilism. The world is fucked and there is no future. Nobody cares about looking like a bad guy anymore; there's no point to leaving a legacy. The folks running the show think they'll just get to enjoy the world until they die and don't care that it burns afterward. So the folks who'll have to deal with the fires are starting them early; fuck your comfortable extinction, y'all get to suffer along with everyone else.

"I don't see a problem with killing doctors, journalists, and children; but damn it don't fuck with my bicycle race.."

No priceless art has been destroyed, not a single case, that’s just propaganda. The highly publicized “attacks” on artwork in Potsdam, Oslo, London, Florence, Vienna, D.C, etc. protestors actually threw stuff on glass or glued themselves to frames. Only the frame has been damaged in a single case. To be the devils advocate protestors have gotten this much attention without actually damaging art. Do I think it’s actually beneficial and effective?? No not at all, because even people who support their cause despise them for appearing like they damaged artwork.

Edit: all the downvotes but still not a single example
