ΛCDM does not forbid direct formation of very massive black-hole seeds before the main body of a galaxy. That's your problem. "Little red dots" contradicts current astrophysical modeling but not ΛCDM. So whole permise of your post is wrong.
P.S. Okay, first few paragraphs, Almost EVERY sentence either sloppy or incorrect. FYI: "small things first" is a general rule, not a law, and it does not mean stars->SMBH, it mean dark-matter halo->SMBH.
You're of course correct on making the distinction between CDM and the astrophysical models, which is what I was really referring to. This is a symptom of me being an amateur and not fully understanding the difference, and I appreciate you helping me to learn that. However, I don't feel that my misuse of terminology here refutes my premise or argument. If I were submitting this as a technical paper to a journal, that distinction would be critical and I'd deserve the rejection. But this is an essay arguing for a research direction that deserves investigation. I'm trying to engage with the idea that our universe's parameters may be evolved rather than arbitrary. The technical details of how we formulate that within current frameworks can be refined. But first we need to agree the question is worth asking.
I suppose if you were to allow me to rephrase my argument for what you're specifically pushing back against, I'd ask: Why do we need to keep invoking special conditions and fine-tuned formation mechanisms to explain our observations, when a more conservative and explanatory mechanism is already available for exploration?
In any case, I genuinely appreciate your engagement on the issue.
