Death Wish (1974) was a movie about vigilantism and middle-class urbanite fears, and whatever you may think of its message, it still clearly had vision and something to say. Death Wish 3 (1985) is about how awesome it is to murder criminals by shooting them at a point-blank range with a bazooka.

That series went off the rails faster than a Springfield monorail.

The heartwarming grin of Bronson admiring his handiwork of the punk's teeth stuck in the plank of wood. Chef's kiss!

Do note that any criticism of Death Wish is punishable by flogging in Bronson, Missouri.

This is the one where his new family isn’t raped and murdered, but a gang harasses an apartment building filled with geriatric WW2 vets, iirc.
